A few days later,
It's been two hours. Two hours since Taehyung started reading a poetry book but isn't able to pay attention to it. Without showing how annoyed he was in his face [It doesn't ever work, he ends up looking annoyed anyways] he flipped the pages of the book.
Chapter 19
Let's just hope Jimin will finally say something before he's onto the next chapter. The constant tapping of foot and nervous whispers have gotten Taehyung in the head.
He wanted to yell at the older but he knows he doesn't have the ability to.Pages of flipping could be heard again along with the sound of tapping foot. Irritated, Taehyung threw the book at the table, earning a surprised gasp from Jimin.
'What is it?' he wrote aggressively on a paper.
Jimin blinked, mouth open. He wanted to say something but then closed his mouth like a fish.
"Nothing! What do you mean?" He attempted to lie, the surprised expression quickly turning into a muted one. Taehyung is amazed by how quickly Park Jimin can change his facial expressions. Truly a character.
'I know you have something to say, Jimin. Don't lie'
Jimin sighed and replied after a few minutes.
"Okay, I- uh wanted to take you out in a shop that has newly opened. By my studio. Please say yes" he pouted.
Distraction. Jimin was finding him a distraction from all the mess he's been in since the last three days.
He was at his third shake of head when Jimin whined loudly.
"Taehyung-ah, please? We'll go and see if there's anything worth buying, if there isn't then we will have coffee by the cafe next to it! C'mon!"
And obviously, he ended up convincing the younger.
____________________________"See, I told you! It isn't that bad" Jimin said as both men made their way into the gift shop, various kinds of aroma from the scented candles engulfing them.
"Aish, this shop smells heavenly! Also kinda expensive as fuck" He spoke in dialect.
Taehyung roller his eyes at his friend, he was forced to come here in the first place. The shop actually looked really luxurious, much to Jimin's words. The contrast of mahogany and black walls made it look like some antique shop , century old. What a weird combination, he thought in his head.
The left corner of the shop was clearly the candle aisle considering the brown shelves were filled with candles. It looked really neat.
The right corner was supposedly for perfumes and gift items. This aisle was specifically decorated with lots of ornaments and fairy lights."It's because they newly opened, a week ago" As if he read Taehyung's thoughts, the older one explained walking around the candle aisle.
Despite being newly opened, the shop was full with customers. People were roaming around, chatting with each other as they tried to choose different items. The salesmen looked like they knew what they were selling
"They all look very cute, don't you think?" He hummed, eyeing the candles neatly stacked up by the shelves.
'Are you really going to buy something or did you just bring me here for nothing?' the older gasped dramatically at the response.
"How dare you? Of course, I'm going to buy something. I have a coupon. Otherwise I couldn't even buy expensive products like this" Giving Taehyung one last look, he started walking towards a salesman.
