FINN
The minute we got home, Arabella got Milo's leash and started to call him. She didn't even take her coat off.
"You wanna take him out right away?" I asked.
"Of course!" She said, "The sooner the better."
"Why?""Because once we're finished taking him out, I'm going to have a shower, then have a nap, then get ready again, then go out." She explained.
"Where are you going?"
"Just to a club with a friend."
"Which friend?" Arabella came out of her bedroom holding Milo."Why are you asking me so many questions?" She asked.
"I don't know." I shrugged. She stared at me for a little while before sighing.
"If you really must know, I'm going out with Aiyana Mescal, she's a friend from work."
"Yeah, I know Aiyana."
"Alright, I have him. Let's go." She said as she put Milo down once he was on a leash. I smiled and followed after her.

We drove over to Central park and started to walk around. The Autumn leaves fell down slowly. I watched as Arabella held on to Milo's leash. She looked so calm and content, I've never seen her look so peaceful in the years that I've known her. She always looks so serious.
"What?" Arabella asked.
"Huh?"
"You were staring at me." I froze."Uh, that's because of all the leaves in your hair." She started patting her head looking for leaves. I took this chance to grab a pile of yellow and orange leaves and threw them on her head.
"How dare you." She said as she started taking them off her head and placing them on my head. I laughed and grabbed more leaves to throw at her.
"Oh you son of a bitch." She laughed as she grabbed more leaves and threw them at me. We continued to throw leaves at each other until she pushed me into a pile of leaves, I had to bring her down with me of course. She fell on top of me and just stared at me.
"There's people watching." I said.
"Yeah. You're right." She said, "Kiss me."
"Huh?"
"Rule number three.""Right." I said. I placed my hands on her hips and pulled her close to me. Our nose touched for a brief moment before I closed my eyes before my lips touched hers. She gently grabbed my face with her hands. I wrapped my arms around her waist as the kiss got more passionate. Arabella's hands moved to my chest. We stayed like that for a few seconds before she pulled away.
"You're a better kisser than I thought, Muffin." She said slowly. Milo came and started licking my face before I could reply to her.
"Aww, looks like Milo was jealous." Arabella said as she picked up Milo and gave him a small kiss on his head.
"Okay, now get off Strawberry. I need to get up." I told her.
"Alright, alright." She laughed as she got up and put Milo back down. I stood up and wiped the leaves off my pants.
We continued to walk, hand in hand as we watched Milo run through leaves and eat bugs. I was happy to finally have a calm afternoon without having to worry about anything or anyone, which was surprising since my life has been filled with stress for a while now, yet, Arabella, the girl I once hated, came in and single handedly saved me. I'm not going to tell her because I know for a fact if I did she would never let me live it down.
"Are you ready to go Muffin?" Arabella asked.
"Yeah." I answered. "I need sleep."
"And a bath." Arabella added.
"And a bath." I repeated. She smiled as we continued to walk.
"You know, you're not as bad as I thought you were Finn." She said, "Wanna just drop the enemy thing and be friends who just tease each other sometimes?"
"Frenemies?"
"Yeah." She nodded. "Frenemies."
"That sounds nice."
"Yeah."
"Let's do it." Arabella smiled.
"Good." She said as she placed her head on my shoulder. I smiled down at her. Am I going to miss teasing her all the time? Yeah. But I think I might enjoy this more.
