I woke up to the feeling of something wet on my face. I opened my eyes and saw Milo who was staring right at me. I petted his head and looked over to check the time. 9:30. I sighed and checked my phone and saw two messages from Chase. I sat up to read the texts.

I quickly got up to take a shower and clean up a bit before Chase got here.

After around 15 minutes, the house was cleaned. I heard a knock on the door and sighed before I went to answer.

"Hey Finn." Said Chase before he bent down to see Milo who was at his feet. "Hey Milo."

"So why did you decide to come over at 10 o'clock at night?" I asked.

"We need to talk." He said.

"About what?"

"Arabella." I gulped. "I saw the news."

"Oh, that's uh nice." I said as I awkwardly leaned on the door. Chase gets scary when it comes to his sisters. I remember Arabella, Natalia, him, and I went out to an amusement park for Natalia's 15th birthday and there were a group of guys that started cat calling her. Let's just say it didn't end well.

"Sit down." He said as he nodded over to my couch.

"Got it." I said as I went to sit down. Chase sat across from me.

"So, what's up... bro?" I said.

"Shut up for once in your life and let me do the talking."

"Sir yes sir." I said earning a glare from him. "Sorry."

"You know how I feel about my sisters, right?"

"I mean it's hard not to after you cracked a guy's skull open when he grabbed Natalia's ass." I said.

"Exactly, so you know what happens when people mess with them." I nodded. "Good. Now, if I ever hear you do anything to Arabella, I am going to kill you, and I know how to make sure no one will ever find you. Do I make myself clear?"

Fun fact. Chase is a cop so when he says that he'll make sure no one will find out, he means it.

"Yes sir." I said. Once I finished my sentence, we both turned our heads to see the opened door. Arabella came in with her friend, Aiyana.

"Hey, Finn?" She started. "Aiyana is gonna stay the night if that's..."

She trailed off when she noticed Chase.

"Hey Chase." She said, awkwardly. Aiyana stood beside Arabella and waved to Chase.

"Aiyana?" Chase asked.

"Hey Chase!" She said. Chase chuckled and ran over to her. He lifted her up as they hugged. Arabella came to sit with me.

"Why is Chase here?"

"No reason, the real question is: what's up with him and Aiyana?"

"Chase and Aiyana used to be super super close when I first became a model. It was obvious that they both liked each other but Aiyana had a boyfriend at the time who was super toxic and she was just kinda stuck with him so she couldn't break up with him if she tried. Chase was always there for her though, no matter what. But when Aiyana moved to LA, they stopped talking due to their conflicting schedules."

"Ah. Star-crossed lovers."

"Yep."

"Ari, I'm gonna stay the night at Chase's."

"Okay." Said Arabella as Chase and Aiyana opened the door to leave.

"Use protection, kids!" I joked, Chase glared at me before shutting the door."

Arabella yawned and placed her head on my shoulder.

"We're going bed shopping tomorrow."

"Why?"

"I don't like the pullout." I gasped sarcastically.

"How dare you!?" I said. She rolled her eyes.

"Night Finn." She said.

"Night strawberry."
