ARABELLA

Finn passed out on his bed as soon as we got home. Milo crawled on top of him and started to sleep as well. I went and took a quick shower to get the leaves out of my hair. It's been a long day and I honestly thought it was going to go so much worse but overall, it wasn't that bad.

I went to check up on Finn and Milo once I got out. Milo was curled up beside him and Finn held onto him like a stuffed animal. I smiled at the sight. It's rare to see Finn quiet since he never shuts up.

I checked the time and saw it was 7:30. I sighed.

"At least I get two more hours of sleep." I said to myself as I headed to my room

"Alright, I'm going now!" I said to Finn who was in the kitchen, cooking.

"Okay!" He replied. "Be safe and remember, if the ice in your drink doesn't float, there's something in it!"

"Thanks, mom!" I said, getting my shoes on. Suddenly, Finn came out from around the corner with a cloth on his shoulder.

"I am not your mom." He said with his arms crossed.

"Look at you." I said, trying my best not to laugh. He looked down at the way he was standing and sighed.

"Fine, just get going." He said, going back to the kitchen. I rolled my eyes and smiled as I opened the door to leave.

"Arabella!" I heard Aiyana say as soon as I walked into the club.

"Hey!" I said, giving her a hug.

"It's literally been forever!" She said as she hugged me back. We both pulled away after a few seconds.

"I've missed you, I can't believe you were in New York." I told her.

"And I can't believe you're dating The Finn Diaz." She said,

"Yeah, yeah. Let's change the subject." I suggested. "What have you been up to?"

"Nothing much." She shrugged. "It was my dad's birthday last week so I went back to the reserve to see him."

Aiyana is a Native American from Canada. She grew up on a reservation and she always wanted to be a model. When she did eventually become one, she made sure to make sure her culture was heard as well. That's one of my favorite things about her, the way she doesn't lose sight of her identity.

"Sweet." I said. "Anyways, let's go get drinks, I am so fucking thirsty right now."

"Honestly." She laughed as we walked over to the bar.
