ARABELLA

"Hurry up, Strawberry!" I heard Finn say from the other side of the bathroom door. I was getting ready and he slept in so I got to the bathroom first, loser. He's been kneeling against the door, waiting for about half an hour now.

"Calm down, Muffin!" I yelled back as I finished cleaning up my makeup. When I opened the door, Finn fell to the floor. His hair was all messy and his voice was low and raspier than usual. When he finally realized the door was open he looked up at me. Finn got up on his knees again and held on to my thighs.

"Thank you." He said as if he's been waiting to use the bathroom for years.

"Rule two, Finn!" I said. He let go of my thighs, stood up and rushed into the bathroom. I sighed and went to go see Milo who was curled up on the couch asleep. Lucky.

When we got to the place where the interviewer wanted to meet, Finn and I sat down.

"Hold my hand." I whispered in his ear. He didn't respond, he just intertwined our fingers.

"Anything else?" He whispered.

"Just whisper random shit in my ear, they'll eat it up." I told him. He nodded.

"Peanut butter." He whispered.

"Jelly." I whispered back.

"Mustard."

"Ketchup."

"Cheese."

"Crackers."

"Coca."

"Cola."

"Your mom."

"Your dad."

"Your uncle."

"Your aunt."

"So mature."

"You started it dumbass."

"Am I interrupting something?" We pulled away from each other and saw a tall woman in front of us. We laughed it off.

"No. Of course not." I giggled. She started chuckling along with us.

"Okay, shall we start?" The interviewer asked.

"Go ahead." Finn replied.

"Okay, first things first, my name is Clara Swanson and I'll be your interviewer for today." She introduced. "If you don't feel like answering a question just tell me and I'll make sure to avoid it, alright? I know how uncomfortable these kinds of things could be."

We nodded.

"Okay, my first question is: When and how did you guys meet?" Clara asked.

"We actually met through her brother when we were still in elementary school." Finn answered.

"Oh wow! Was it love at first sight or was it a rocky start?"

"It was a bit rocky at first but we've, obviously, matured." I answered. Finn snorted, I pinched his arm causing him to stiffen.

"Oh really? What happened?"

"Well you see, Arabella is terrified of spiders so when I was around like 10, I decided to buy a fake spider at the dollar store and put it on her head. She saw it fall off and started to freak out." Finn and Clara started to laugh. I glared at him.

"I noticed that in the video of you two that was leaked, you guys were calling each other these cute nicknames. Strawberry and Muffin I think it was?"

"Oh! When I was 15 and he was 16, there was a bake sale at our school and there was this kid that he hated for some reason that's unknown to me, anyways, they started arguing and it soon escalated to a physical fight that ended in this kid dumping a whole batch of Muffins on his head. The crumbs were stuck in his amazing hair for days." I started to play with his hair. Clara started to laugh.

"Yeah, well, when Arabella was 13 she was obsessed with strawberries, they were her favorite food ever. So one summer, we went on a road trip to this small farm where they grew and let you pick fruits and all she picked was Strawberries. She stuffed her face full of them once got home. The day ended with her spending the night in the bathroom because she was throwing up strawberries so bad that some came out of her nose and ears." Clara laughed even harder.

"Wow, you guys have such a long history together. When did you start dating?"

"A couple years ago, we met again when I came to visit my brother for Thanksgiving. I didn't know Finn was there and we spent the whole night talking and catching up." I explained. What actually happened that night was I visited for Thanksgiving, saw him there, tried to leave but Chase stopped me. After a couple drinks we started arguing about anything and everything, the dinner ended with Finn having a broken wrist.

"Yeah, that's exactly how that went." Finn stared at me intensely.

"Aww. Do you guys live together now or is Arabella just visiting?"

"We've lived together for almost a year now." Said Finn.

"Yeah." I agreed.

"Aww, are you guys planning on ever having kids or anything?" Finn and I both stiffened. "Oh! You don't have to answer."

"No it's fine." I said. "One day, maybe. We currently have a little puppy named Milo right now."

"Yeah, he's our kid in a way." Finn added.

"Cute. Arabella, how's your modelling career going?" Clara changed the subject.

"It's going great actually. I'm doing a shoot in a few months for Vogue." I answered her.

"Awesome, and Finn, how's the band? Any tours coming up?"

"Yeah, actually. We're going on a tour to Europe next month."

"That sounds like a dream. Are you joining him, Arabella?"

"Yes, I go with him on as many tours as I can."

"Aww you guys are so in love. Everyone has been waiting for you two to get together ever since you were seen talking with him backstage with your siblings. Speaking of which, how long have they've known?" Clara asked. The question reminded me that Chase and Natalia have absolutely no idea that Finn and I are in a staged relationship. I froze thinking about how to answer the question. Luckily, Finn saved me.

"They've known for a while now." He said.

"Yeah."

"Well that's all the questions I have for you today. Thank you for a nice time." Said Clara as she started to pack up her stuff.

"Your welcome, Clara." I smiled at her. Finn grabbed my waist.

"Let's get going." He said. "Bye Clara."

"Goodbye!" She said as we walked over to Finn's car.

"We should probably take out Milo once we get back." Said Finn, still holding on to my waist.

"Yeah, I miss him already." I said. "Also, why did you hate that kid from the bake sale so much?"

Finn went quiet before he turned to smile at me.

"I'll tell you later. I'm not sure you're ready for the answer yet." He said.

"How do you know?"

"Oh, I know." He said. "Just be patient, Strawberry."

"Got it, Muffin." I placed my head on his shoulder. I hate to admit it but maybe Finn is okay sometimes.
