i've been really getting into older rock music. more specifically bands like pink floyd, cream, jethro tull etc.
i've really been enjoying pink floyd's the wall, especially the song nobody home.
i just relate to most of the album in some sort of way, at least i think.
i've been listening to that song on repeat on my phone.
huh. mei texted me. ever since we've started dating, i just can't seem to not smile. guess i've really moved on from my ex.
mei<3: wanna go on a date today? i'm free, love
you: sure! what time?
mei<3: hmmm, 7 pm?
you: sounds good! where at?
mei<3: how about we watch movies at your place tonight? :D
you: sure! i mean, nobody's home
mei<3: sounds good! see you at 7 babe <3
you: see you at 7 baby!! <3
i love her. she's perfect.
but anyways, as i was saying, pink floyd just really got to me. to the point i started recording a cover of the song. i mean, i have a piano, i can easily do that!
okay, been a few hours, mei should be here in 30.
better prop up the popcorn and the other snacks, might as well pull out some drinks while i'm at it..
i love her so much, it's unbelievable.
heard a knock on the door...
"ah, hey love! mike left the house to myself, told me i can invite anyone."
"wow, this house is massive! also, who's mike?"
"he's my therapist. his family decided to take me under their wing until i get my life sorted..."
"oh, i see. well, it's great they did that for you darling." she said in a more playful tone.
we started snacking and everything. i had such a great time with mei.
"i had a great time with you tonight mei."
"who said it has to end, darling?" she said, and placed a hand on my thigh.
it felt so good, but i felt like it wasn't the right time.
"i'm sorry mei, but i don't think i'm ready and i don't think it's the right time."
"okay then! we can just cuddle for the night if you prefer." she responded.
"wait, you're not mad?" i asked.
"no? why would i be, my love?" she replied.
"i don't know, because i refused..?" i said.
"i will never be mad at you, baby. i promise." she said back and started to cuddle me.
"i love you, mei."
"i love you too, jake."
we both fell asleep in eachother's arms. good thing it's saturday tomorrow..
