it's time to confess to mei. i have to, i really can't hold these feelings in anymore.
lunch time arrived. i talked with will for a bit.
"i'm gonna tell her i like her. i've been denying doing so for far too long."
"alright jake. i know you can do this buddy."
i went ahead and sat down with mei.
"oh, hey jake!" she said, giving me a big hug.
"hey, mei..." i said, hugging back, all flustered and shit.
"why do you look so nervous? is something wrong?" she asked me.
alright jake. you got this.
"well, mei.. i... i love you..." i said, stuttering a little and blushing dark blood red.
she just smiled, lifted my face up, and... kissed me?
"i love you too, jake." she said and hugged me again.
i... can't believe this..
mei rhett, one of the prettiest, smartest, and kindest girls in our grade... likes floor boy..
"hmm, how about we go on a date? today, 7:30 pm, at the restaurant near my house?" she asked.
"y-yeah, that sounds.. wonderful.." i answered back.
as i walk back to william, he looks at me with a smile and asks:
"so, how was your magical kiss with your girlfriend?"
"shut up will. but yeah, it was amazing." i answer back.
"i'm actually so fucking happy for you dude. i knew you could do it! how about you stop at my place today for actual lunch after school?" will asked.
"hell yeah!" i answer. "just have to ask mike first."
i texted mike and obviously, he accepted. but now i have to figure out what to wear..
