Chapter Twenty
"You sure you don't want those lessons?" He teased as I walked him out of my apartment building. The sun beat down on the two of us once we stepped outside and my eyes squinted to protect themselves.
"Tomorrow, I told you I'm really not feeling good." I reminded him while gesturing to my stomach, earlier today I almost passed out out of nowhere.
We were talking and I was leaning against the wall, when I suddenly felt my head start to get heavy and Ashton claims my face went pale. He says I looked 'ghostly', or whatever. Luckily he was there to hold me up by my shoulders and keep me from falling onto the ground as I lost a bit of consciousness. He had practically dragged me to the kitchen and forced me to drink a large cup of orange juice to get my blood sugar going again.
"Okay."
He smiled lightly and pulled me into a hug. I unfolded my arms from my chest and wrapped them around him, squeezing for a moment and then letting go. "Give me a call later on." He dropped a quick kiss to the top of my head and the gesture caused my body to feel like someone had set it on fire. His hands found their way to my shoulders and he looked down at me, right in the eyes.
"Try eating something." I nodded my head slowly as he let go of me and walked away.
I stood in front of the main entrance while I watched him get into his truck and drive off, giving him a small wave. The vehicle slowly turned a corner and dissapeared but not before Ashton beeped the horn.
With a smile I turned and went back inside, going to my tiny mailbox. I opened it up, pulling out a few bills, a magazine and another letter from my mother.

I looked at the clock as it struck eight. I've been feeling a lot better since Ashton left, I took a nap, ate a whole bunch and I even went for a little walk.
At the moment I was placed on my couch, the remote firmly in my hand as I channel surfed. The sound of my phone vibrating from beside me taking my attention.
'Are you feeling any better?'
I smiled at Ashton's text, hes always so concerned.
'A lot actually.'
I sent the vauge message and shoved another blueberry into my mouth, changing the channel once again and stopping at mob wives.
'I'm glad...well the shows gonna start soon. Maybe I'll see you somewhere in the audience?'
'Thought you dont play on sundays'
'Yeah, well...we made an acception and they offered us double so we'd be stupid not to take it.'
