Hi, everyone, Josie and Cate over here!
This is something we've been working on for a little while already. We wanted to explore a storyline that's a little more intense compared to the ones we usually write for Meredith and Nick. Don't get us wrong, we love a good old fluffy fanfiction, but we feel it's important to also tackle certain topics and this one was particularly important to us. There's an eventual happy ending coming, but this is not a light reading story, so we reccomend you to carefully read the trigger warning list below before you start the first chapter. We hope you'll enjoy reading this as much as we are enjoying writing it. The story and the chapters are named after some of the wonderful poems by Emily Dickinson.
