I toss my phone on the couch and stand up to wake Nat up from her nap. Her door creaks a bit as I let it fully open and walk in to see her sleeping peacefully.

I kiss her head a few times until she stirs and stretches her limbs. "Morning sleepy head." I giggled as she yawned.

She mumbled something and turned away from me. "C'mon I'm bored dude." I nudged her shoulder.

"Leave me 'lone." She groaned. I sucked my teeth in annoyance. I never expected to nag my child about playing, but I really wanna build some legos with her.

"Let's make that princess lego set thingy I bought you." "No go way." She shooed me off.

"You're so boring." I muttered, finally leaving her alone and going to the living room to play with her legos.

Ten minutes later she ran out of her room. "Mama, I wanna play now!!" She grinned, sitting down next to me on the floor.

"You can't. Go back to sleep." I pushed her away from my legos. "Wha- no. I'm sorry." She pouted.

"You're ten minutes too late Nat." I replied in a sad tone. "Nuh uh, lemme play." She pleaded.

"No." "I'm calling Zaidee." She huffed, grabbing my phone.

I would've stopped her, but I honestly didn't feel like it. Plus I'll get to talk to her, even if she scolds me for being 'mean' to Nat.

It took 2 rings for her to answer and Natalia immediately told her what I did. "You're an ass, let her play with you." Zaidee told me.

I grabbed the phone. "I will, she'll mess everything up though." I muttered the last part.

"Be nice." She glared. "I am, and speak for yourself. You're mean as hell."

"That's because I love you." Z smiled. "Same situation here, she just decided to be a tattle tale." I rolled my eyes looking at Nat who was connecting some pieces.

"Problem solved though. I'll see you on thursday." I dismissed. "Bye, love." She blew a kiss and hung up.

"Mama, it doesn't fit." Nat showed me the pieces. "Because they don't go together, bug." I showed her the right one.
