Jason liked Piper better without the knife wound.

The entire camp, meaning all that was there, had a meeting in the amphitheater. Chiron stood in the center below, along with Myron, holding a huge sledge hammer over his shoulder, Captain America, and Tony Stark in his suit of iron armor.

Chiron silenced the theater for Myron to begin talking. "Now, as we all know, there is a problem that has risen last year, and just a while ago in Boston. The raids of eidolons here at Camp Half Blood has proved finally that Kronos has declared war.

Clarisse La Rue shouted down to the four in the center. "Gee, really? I thought Kronos wanted to just play around like we're best buddies."

"Now, Myron has also realized that Gaea wishes to rise once again and help the Titans rule the upper world. We are no match for them, and we need as many alliances as possible. We have the help of Captain Steven Rogers and Anthony Stark. Silverstreak has also convinced the Autobots to help out as well," Chiron said.

This all confused Jason. He didn't think any of this existed, but, then again, demigods existed, so why not superheroes and aliens?

"I need to get some of my, ah, other friends here to help out," Myron said. "I need a scouting mission to help with this adventure. But, be warned, that Kronos may be anywhere where he pleases. Also, some of these friends may get a little, um, competitive against any demigod I bring.

Jason stood up. He was definitely ready for an adventure. "I volunteer," he said.

Piper followed his lead. "I volunteer, as well," she said. Just as she said this, a knife came out of nowhere, and impaled itself in Piper's hip. Everyone hovered around her. The wound was deep, and blood was being lost fast.

An evil laugh arose from the distance, and Kronos himself walked right through.

"All you demigods seem to think you can save the world. Same with you Avengers, Autobots, and other supernatural beings," Kronos said. "This is only the beginning. I will exact my vengeance on Olympus and you petty demigods."

With that, Kronos left the theater, and everyone was in panic.

"If everyone would calm down, we can finish this meeting," Chiron said. "Myron, please continue."

"Well," he began. "Since Piper's in the infirmary, we obviously can't bring her along. Jason will probably want to stay with her, so I'll need two more volunteers."

He was right. Jason would never go on a quest or whatever Myron said it was if Piper was at risk of dying.

The room was silent. Nobody would want to go on a mission if that was one of the consequences.

"I will," said a voice in the crowd. Angela, the daughter of Apollo, stood high and mighty.

"I'm not scared of Kronos," she said. "Plus, I'll never leave you alone on a mission if you're going to make a dumb decision that will get you killed."

She walked down the steps, and joined Myron. She kissed him on the cheek, and whispered something in his ear that made him laugh.

"Great. I'll need one more person. Who else has the guts to do this?" Myron asked.

Another spoke up, which frightened everyone. "I'll go," it said. Everyone turned to see Nico d' Angelo standing in the shadows, stepping out into the light of the camp fire.

"If you're dealing with spirits that will possess your body, I'm the person you'll need," he said.

"Great," Myron said. "Moxie, boy. You'll need to stay here. I've got Silverstreak and Jane coming along for transportation."

"You can count on me, dude," the hellhound said.

"Now, team, let's move!" he said. With that, everyone applauded as they exited the theater.
