Nico knew they would be cut short somehow.

Once they hit the road, another car rammed right in front of them. It was pure black, and it looked nothing like Jules-Albert's car. Nico never even remembered summoning Jules-Albert.

A few people in suits emerged from the car, along with a masked figure. Frightened citizens scattered among the roads.

Myron looked warily at the figure. He tapped his watch, and his titanium shield sprung from the mechanisms.

"Sir, I'm going to need to ask your friends here to leave us out of whatever you've got going on here," Myron said.

The masked man replied by taking a gun from his holster and began shooting. Everyone piled behind Myron, his shield holding away the shots.

"Okay, you don't want to talk?" Myron asked. "Fine, be that way."

Myron unsheathed his sword, and charged at the man. By the time he swung the sword, the man caught it in mid-swing. He yanked the sword from Myron's hands, and flung him backward, throwing the sword right at him.

"Hey, nobody throws my friends," Nico said. He regretted it once he said it.

The man came towards Nico, his gun loaded and ready to shoot Nico in the head. Nico was ready for it, until a blur flew right in front, catching the man off balance.

"Barnes, why don't you pick on someone your own size?" asked another man, this one with mechanical wings on his back. Nico was totally confused now.

He decided this was the moment to distract. He kicked his foot around, swiping the man called Barnes off his feet.

The savior pulled Nico and Myron to their feet.

"Thanks for saving our butts," Myron replied.

"No problem," he said. "The name's Sam Wilson. Pleased to be there for you."

"Hey, you're Falcon, aren't you?" Myron asked.

"Yeah, that's me," he replied.

"Well, Falcon, watch out behind you," Nico warned.

Sam turned right around, and kicked the man backward again.

"Stay down, Barnes. I'm not finished yet," he said.

"Who is that guy?" Myron asked. "He looks familiar."

"Bucky Barnes. Otherwise known as the Winter Soldier," Sam said.

"Oh, yeah," Myron said. "Cap's old friend in the war," Myron said. "Rogers told me about him. Guess I never saw the guy in person."

"Well, he never meant anything," Wilson said. Nico definitely thought he meant them harm.

"Well, it's been nice talking, but I've got to fly. Going to need to take this guy to solitary confinement," Falcon said.

"Wait!" Myron called. "We've got a big load on our shoulders. Rogers and Stark are helping us out with a war about to break. You in?"

Sam hesitated. "Sure, if it means bad guys can kiss my-"

"Okay!" Nico said. He didn't even want Sam to finish. "That's great and all, but we've got a few places to go ourselves. See you later."

Nico was the first to get in the car, and Myron and Angela piled in after them.

"What was that all about," Angela asked. "You just stormed out like a fire was about to start."

"Listen, if we need to move, let's go," Nico said. All of this was driving him insane. They only had a limited amount of time before Kronos could home in on them. And Nico wasn't in the mood to start a "nice to see you" conversation.
