Satyapriya ran towards the maid.
" Mata is safe right?" Satyapriya stammered.
" I don't know what happened? She was sleeping all of a sudden she started to cough I have water too but she is continuously coughing soo vigorously" Maid replied.
Dristadeva first sprinted towards Vatsala's chamber while Satyapriya heard the report of maid.
" Atte ! Let me open all the windows fresh air helps you " He rushed to open the window.
Vatsala clutched her throat unable withstand the pain of her continuous cough.
" Maa " Satyapriya entered the room and found Vatsala throw up blood.
" Maaa" She yelled rushes towards her. She embraced Vatsala and started rubbing her chest.
" What's happening to you Mata? Hold you breath or take deep breath do something to hold on this cough " Satyapriya had tears.
Vatsala tried to hold breath as Satyapriya told but it didn't last long and next time she threw up more amount of blood with loud cough.
Krishna and his wives along with Arjun Subhadra dashed inside the room. Satyaki took away Balaram forcefully because he knew the mightiest Balarama can never withstand the sight of Vatsala's agony.
The plain saree and the silky quilt of the bed of Vatsala and including the floor were drenched with blood.
" What are you waiting for? You learnt medicine all these years do something" Dristadeva yelled and shooked her shoulder bringing Satyapriya to present.
Satyapriya nodded and first checked pulse of Vatsala which had improper phase because she was panting. Satyapriya pressed her stomach keenly grasping the movement inside and examined for any extra growth appearance.
" No tumors " She sighed and them proceeded towards her throat.
She pressed her thumb and index finger along the vocal cords.
" The blood is because of continuous vigorous cough nothing else and this may be because of Alergy " Satyapriya was telling it for herself as she quickly fetched few herbs from her chamber.
Krishna glanced at his wives who all were crying as well as consoling themselves.
" Mahadeva enough of troubling my child let her be in peace we can't take it anymore " Nagnajiti prayed.
" Neither carried not gave birth to her but still they are in pain. What if they witness their children's death tomorrow? My all dearest Queens are also suffering because me " Krishna thought.
Satyapriya returned back and first heated a beetle leaf and placed it on Vatsala's throat so that the warmth from the leaf could relieve her from itchy throat for a while.
" Someone please keep changing the leaves until I prepare the medicine" Satyapriya said as she sensed get hands were shaking. She knew she could no do everything at once.
" Haan yes " Satyabhama volunteered.
Satyapriya grinded few more beetle leaves and ginger while Dristadeva extracted their juices seperately.
Parikshit came down soon after getting the news along with Uttara. He didn't knew what to react just quietly sat near the door.
" Satya Tulsi " Uttara fetched few fresh Tulsi and handed it to Satyapriya.
" Finished " Dristadeva handed the cups to Satyapriya. He spotted Parikshit and sat next him to comfort him.
She carefully mixed the required amount of those extraction in a cup and stood up and looked at Vatsala. He exhausted body and soul was resting in Satyabhama's arms. Those blood stains on saree , open hairs and pale face of Vatsala once again drained all the energy from Satyapriya.
