TW: Slight swearing and slight mentions of violence
Katianne's POV
I sat alone in my dorm room, drawing on a piece of parchment since I finished reading all of the books I had, and was too lazy to go and get more. Harry and I had already given a few lessons to the other students, and everything was going quite well. Weirdly though, the other Slytherins never really suspected my sneaking around. Suddenly, the door slammed open, leading to me snapping my head up to locate Draco strutting in, a smug look masking his face.
"Hello to you too." I muttered, rolling my eyes at his dramatic entrance; going back to my doodling. "Haven't you... noticed anything?" The blonde boy asked, 'subtly' motioning to the purple badge that was on his chest. "Hmm, nope." I replied, looking away from him. I heard the blonde boy sigh dramatically. "Fine, what is it?" I asked, giving in.
I glanced back at him, noticing the wide grin that was spread on his face. "Oh, it's nothing important, just a badge I have been awarded for being in the inquisitorial squad." The grey eyed boy answered, making sure to emphasise 'inquisitorial squad', as if I wouldn't hear it if he didn't. Though, his response led to confusion washing over me, my eyebrows furrowed as I looked back up at him.
"What's that?" I quizzed, shock then painted on his face. "Has no one told you?" Draco questioned, to which I replied with shaking my head. "We basically assist Umbridge with stuff." The blonde boy explained. "And... what are you assisting her with now?" I then asked. "Well she does suspect that Potter- sorry- your brother is up to something, and she wants us to find out what. Which, speaking of that, do you know anything about it?"
I shook my head. "No, he hasn't been talking to me lately. Always hanging out with Hermione and Ron." I lied, trying my best to keep a straight face. "Hmm, okay then. Well then that just means you get to hang out with me more." Draco joked, coming to sit next to me, while the both of us chuckled. Though, that was when I thought of an idea.
"So... how can I join this squad?"

Harry's POV
"You what?" I asked Katia in shock, some of the people around us shushing me and giving me angry stares. The both of us were at the library doing homework when Katianne decided to tell me about joining the inquisitorial squad.
"I joined that Umb*tch squad thing." The blonde girl simply responded, not taking her eyes off of her book; which irritated me, leading to me snatching it away from her. "Hey! Give it back." She whisper-shouted in a demanding tone. "Not until you tell me what made you decide to help Umbridge's squad destroy, might I add, our squad." I hissed back.
Katia sighed, rolling her eyes at how mad I seemed. "I'm not actually going to help them you dumbarse. I'm joining to help lead them the wrong way." The blue eyed girl explained, grabbing her book back. "Wait, doesn't that mean you can't help teach then?" I asked. "I'm sure you'll do fine on your own. Plus, you got Hermione."
I sighed, feeling a tad bit angry at how unbothered she was; as well as completely ignoring me by reading a book. But then again, she's got a solid plan. Finally, I went back to doing work.

A few days have passed, and Katia has let me in on all of her successes in leading the inquisitorial squad the wrong way. And teaching has been going really well; everyone is making a lot of progress.
"So... that's it for this lesson." I started saying, Hermione and Ron stood on either side of me. "Now, we're not going to be meeting again until after the holiday. So just keep practising on your own as best as you can and- and well done, everyone; great- great work." I stammered as everyone started clapping, a wide smile spread on my face.
Everyone started walking away, clearing out of the place; though the large crowd wasn't what caught my eye. Cho stood in front of a mirror alone, staring at the pictures of Cedric. "See you in the common room, Harry." I could hear Hermione say, as both her and Ron left. The rest of the people continued to leave, telling me to have a good Christmas on the way as well; but then the Weasley twins stopped me.
"We've been thinking, Harry." One of them started saying. "We can always slip Umbridge some puking pastilles into her tea." The other continued. "Or fever fudge! They give you these massive, pus-filled boils-"I cut the both of them off by saying, "Sounds great guys. Would you excuse me?" With that, they walked away; me going over to the black haired girl.
"Are you alright? I heard Umbridge gave you a rough time the other day." I asked, trying to be nice. "Yeah, I'm okay. Anyway, it's worth it." Cho responded, her voice barely above a whisper. "It's just- learning all of this... makes me wonder whether if he'd know it." The Ravenclaw girl stated. "Cedric- Cedric did know this stuff. He was really good. It's just... Voldemort was better."
I heard Cho chuckle slightly, looking down at her feet as she put strands of her luscious black hair behind her ear. "I- I'm sorry for... coming to you with my problems. It's just- I really liked Cedric last year; and I know your sister was dating him. It just... kind of feels bad that I never actually got to tell him that. Like there's a constant weight on my shoulders."
I shook my head, saying, "No, no, it's fine. I understand. There were things I regret not telling him too. I do understand- how you feel." Silence filled the air, though Cho broke that by telling me, "You're a really good teacher, Harry." I started smiling uncontrollably as a blush started creeping up to my cheeks. "I've never been able to stun anything before." She then stated.
The both of us looked up, locating a growing plant that was inching closer and closer to us. "Mistletoe." Cho whispered. My breathing got more rapid as I felt my heartbeat increasing its speed. Without a thought, I said, "Probably full of nargles, though." Confusion masked her face. "What are nargles." The Ravenclaw girl quizzed. "No idea." I muttered.
Slowly, the both of us leaned in, our lips meeting. And at last, I got to kiss her; a girl I have been liking since last year. After quite a long time of kissing, Cho pulled away; her cheeks crimson red. I was so dazed by that moment, I don't even remember her leaving. Though, I was snapped out of my trance when I felt someone harshly nudge me on the shoulder.
"Finally, dude. I thought I would have to force you two to be together." none other than Katia exclaimed, a grin on her face. I rolled my eyes, pushing her back, then mumbling a "Whatever." I then noticed the purple badge that she had on. "So I'm guessing you're on Umbridge's good side now." I declared in a questioning tone, the both of us starting to walk out of the room of requirement.
"Yep. It did take me some time, but I eventually did it. I'm actually one of her favourites." My twin retorted. "But that doesn't stop me from wanting to strangle her every time I lay eyes on her obnoxiously pink outfit and toad-face." Katia then complained, me laughing at her violent tendencies as we both walked out to meet the others.
