So, I'm gonna start off the book by starting in the Art Museum. Like in the Game. But I'm gonna do the story line different. I hope you like it <3~Ib~
"Ok, Ib, we're here! Isn't everything so pretty?" Mom said to me as we entered the big Art Museum.I nodded and looked around. I had to admit, it was very pretty.
I tugged on moms sleeve softly, "Can I look around, by myself?" I asked quietly.
She smiled, "Sure. But promise me that you won't leave the building by yourself." She explained.
"Promise." I said, hugging her.
She hugged me back. Mom always made me feel so safe. Getting lost wasn't my biggest worry, so I should be fine.
We parted and she turned to the man at the front desk. I walked around the big Museum. I saw a lot of pretty paintings with bright colors, I also saw paintings with dark colors. I saw statues and sculptures.
Everything here was magnificent. At one point I came across a big sculpture of a Red Rose. I gazed in amazement, It was so pretty.
I... I had to touch it. Just one small touch and I would go on.
I extended my arm and touched the stem of the beautiful rose, but I passed out instantly afterwards.
--
I woke up in a dark room, by myself. I had a red rose in my hand. It had 13 petals, exact.
For some reason, the rose seemed to make everything brighter. I stood up and found the door.
I exited the room and entered the hallway. I took the path to my left and saw a man with lavender hair. He was laying on the floor, passed out.
He had a rose by him that was blue. It was dry though. I ran up to him and grabbed his rose. I ran down the hallway and found a Vase. It was full of water.
I dipped the dry blue rose in the water and it slowly began to suck the water up, bringing back it's beautiful glow.
Once it had fully recovered I walked back to the man, counting the petals.
It had exactly 15. The pretty petals glistened and shined beautifully.
"Hey, that's... My rose." I heard the man say as he stood up. He walked over and gave me a small smile, extending out his hand. "May I please have it back?" He asked politely.
I nodded and gave him his rose. He put the rose on the inside of his jacket pocket carefully, making sure not to damage it.
He softly grabbed my hand and kissed it. "Thank you, for restoring my rose. My name is Garry, who might you be?" He said.
"...Ib..." I said softly and blushing lightly.
"Ahh. What a lovely name that is." He sighed, smiling."Thank you." I replied, smiling a bit.
"How old are you, miss Ib?" He asked
"16. And you?" I responded honestly.
"I'm 18. My, you look much younger than 16." He said, studying my child-like features.
I nodded, "I know. I get that a lot."
"Well, we must continue. To find our way out. Come with me, I promise to keep you safe." He said
I nodded. "Oh and. Keep that rose safe. You don't want to lose it, because that dear rose holds your life." He explained.
I nodded once more, taking in all the information he was providing me with.
All of a sudden I got a creepy feeling, knowing that this rose could kill me made me scared.
I grabbed Garry's hand, which made him jump slightly. "Ib?" He asked. I shook my head, hinting for him not to let go.
He just nodded and we continued down the hallway.
