So, you may or may not have noticed that the song is different. Well, we're meeting a new person! This is Mary's Theme, Puppet.

Garry reached in his pocket and pulled out a piece of candy. "Here." He said, giving it to me, "I don't eat candy anyways. So it's yours." He smiled.

I smiled back, accepting his offer. I wasn't going to eat it any time soon though. I had to figure out how to get home first.

Garry put the small silver key into the keyhole and turned it.

The sound of the door unlocking was our entry. He opened the door and found a small black room. Inside there was an empty painting, it had the background of grass, sky, clouds, and a tiny little pond.

Underneath the painting, however, was a girl about my age. She had a yellow flower.

When the light streamed across her face she looked up, beaming when she saw us. She stood up quickly, "Hi!" She greeted with a big smile.

I smiled and waved. "Hey." Garry greeted, "What're you doing alone?" He asked.

"I'm trying to find my father." She replied, "but I couldn't find him anywhere. So, I just gave up and walked into this room. Locking the door behind me. Little did I know where the key to this room was, but I didn't care." She explained.

"We can help you find your father." Garry offered, I smiled letting her know that I agreed.

"...Really?" She asked

"Really." Garry responded.

"Oh, thank you! We're all gonna be best friends, I tell ya!" She beamed, running up and hugging us both.

I hugged her back, and Garry eventually did.

I get a feeling that Garry isn't used to affection.. I thought to myself.

We all broke apart from our group hug, "My name is Mary, what's your guys' names?" She asked

"I'm Garry," Garry said, "And this is Ib." He added, motioning towards me.

Mary grabbed my hands, "I can tell we're gonna be best friends!" She smiled happily.

I smiled back at her and nodded. "You don't talk much do you?" She asked. I shook my head 'No' and giggled a bit.

"Well, we should go." Mary said.

"Yeah, let's go." Garry agreed, walking in front of us protectively.

Mary and I were walking hand in hand, the hallway was big enough to fit all three of us side by side so I sped up a little.

Now I was in the middle of Garry and Mary. I grabbed Garry's hand which made him flinch a bit, but he accepted it.

He looked down and smiled at me, I smiled back. I could feel Mary's gaze on me so I turned my head and smiled brightly at her. She giggled and smiled back.

We finally reached another room. It was a large hallway but it had split doors. "Left or Right?" I asked quietly.

"....Something tells me to go right." Garry said.

"Why can't we test out both doors?" Mary asked.

"I dunno..." Garry said unamused about the idea of splitting up, "What if you guys need help, and I'm not there to protect you." He frowned.

"We'll be fine, I promise!" Mary said

"....Ok then...." Garry sighed, realizing that it was useless to argue, "You take the left. I'll take the right." He added.

Mary and I nodded and headed towards the left door. I looked over at Garry who was already entering the Right door, I felt a part of me grow lonely.

We entered the room and found stone floors and walls. It looked as if the ceiling had disappeared, "What even is this?" I heard Garry ask.

I gasped, "Garry?" I asked.

"..? I-Ib? Is that you?" He asked

"Yes." I responded.

"Where are you?"

"I could ask you the same thing..."

Suddenly there was a loud bang on the wall next to us, "How loud was that?" He asked

"Very loud." Mary and I responded.

"Ok, I think I got it. We have to find our way out of the Maze. I suppose we'll be able to see each other at the end." He explained.

"Ok. Then we'll see you there." I responded.
