I really miss you..

Dinner went by pretty fast. It was amazing and a lot of fun. Miya and I didn't talk that much tho..

I was waiting outside for Masae to pick me and Reki up from the restaurant. The rest of them were still inside. I told them I just needed some fresh air. Which was true! My stomache was killing me. I had way to much to eat.

"Did you enjoy yourself tonight?", I suddenly heard Miya asked. I looked behind me and noticed he had come out as well. I simply nodded and turned my head back foreward.

Miya walked foreward and stood next to me. "I can't believe Reki was the one who chose your outfit", he said trying to start a conversation. "He sure did", I replied letting out a small laugh. "do you like it?", I asked him shyly.

"I.. do..", he simply said.

A few seconds of silence fell between us before I spoke up. "Miya.. I really miss you..".

"I miss you too"

My eyes widened at his remark. I couldn't be more happy hearing that from him, but at the same time.. if we both miss eachother, and still aren't back to where we were..

"I know its hard for you to see passed what happened, but I just want you to know that you're all I think about..", I started, "I know I've apologized before, but I'm sorry for what I did to you. To us..".

Miya didn't reply..

"Hunter?", I suddenly heard Miya ask after a few seconds. "Yes?", I asked as I looked at him. I noticed his green orbs looking right into mine. I didn't know what I was seeing. I was completely lost in his eyes..

Even so much that it took me a second to realise that Miya had closed the distance between us and connected our lips..

My eyes widened and my heart started going like crazy, but all that took only 2 seconds before realizing what was actually happening. I closed my eyes and I put my arms around Miya's waist and kissed him back. Our lips were moving in sinc with eachother.

Is this.. actually happening again?

The world felt perfect again. I don't know for how long we were kissing, but I do know that I got pulled back to reality by Reki's voice.

"So, the two lovebirds are finally back together?", he said teasing us. We quickly parted ways and I cleared my throat. Miya turned away from me and did the same. "Reki, it's not..", I started but he interupted me. "Look! Mom's here already! Let's go home!", Reki said.

"Wait, is langa gonna come too?", I asked noticing Langa getting into the car after Reki. "Yes! Miya's coming too, right?", Reki shouted from inside the car. I looked at Miya to see if he wanted to. A small smile appeared on his face as he nodded yes. I looked down and could feel a blush spreading across my cheeks.

We both walked to the car and I opened the front door for Miya. Miya stepped in the front seat and I colsed the door for him. I sat down behind him in the back and Masae started driving.

I leaned my head on my hand and my elbow on the door while staring at Miya from behind. Is it really gonna be okay between us?

A smile appeared on my face as I looked at his wavy black hair from behind. And while spacing out, I could still feel his lips on mine. And in my head, I was singing a song for Miya..

I love you still, and you know I always will. 'Till the end of time, I won't change my mind. Love you, I'l be here. I will never dissapear. Said forever, I swear

So I will be there..

"So, Hunter?", I heard Masae ask snapping me out of the state I was in. "Before we go home, we had one more surprise for your birthday", Masae started. "But.. you've already done so much!". "I know, but there was one thing that needed to be done", Masae said as she turned the corner. My eyes widened as I recognized the neighbourhood. Masae quickly came to a stop. My eyes were glued on the orphanage and it didn't take me long to realize who was standing outside in front of it.

I instantly opened the door and started running. "Claire!", I shouted running into her arms. "Hunter! Take it easy", she said while laughing, "its only been a couple of months". I kept hugging her. I didn't realize how much I've missed her until now.

She's become so important to me in the last few months and I couldn't thank her enough for that. I let go and tears of joy were on my cherks. "I see you're having a great time with the Kyan family", she said ruffling through my hair. I simply nodded not knowing how to express it otherwise.

"Thank you so much for everything, Claire", I said. She gained a smile on her face and pulled something from behind her back. "happy birthday, Hunter. You can open it when you're at home". I took the present from her hands. I was a small box with some wrapping paper around it. I put in in my pocket and looked back at Claire. "Thank you, Claire", I said. "Now go back to your family and enjoy the rest of your night. I'm glad to see you're doing so great". I gave her another hug before speaking up. "I'll visit more often, I promise", I said giving her a smile back. After nodding, I started walking back to the car. "Goodbye! And thank you!", I heard Masae shout from the car to Claire. I opened the door and sat back down with a fulfilled smile on my face. Can this day get any better?

I closed the door and noticed Miya holding his hand out for me to take it. I took hold of some of his fingers as Masae started driving again.

I guess it can..
