I ran into camp, yelling, "Hurry! It's getting closer to the dens!"

"Oceanbreeze, thank the moon's you're alright, get inside my den, now!" My aunt, Emberwater yowled, hustling me into her den.

"But I have to help! Our packmates are going to die from that...that...thing!" I exclaimed to my aunt.

"But you're the only heir to become Alpha of the Spiritus Pardus, and the pack needs you...alive." Emberwater replied, moving me into the den even further.

"What about Shore!?" I exclaimed, realizing that my closest friend was out there, with that monster.

"Stormingtides." Shore corrected with a growl, "And your aunt didn't forget about me, I choose to fight the nightmare creature."

"No, you're NOT going, stay with me!" I tried to reason with him. But Shore shook his head,

"I just hope I'll save my packmates, and the dens..." He muttered, running back out to fight the monster lurking outside of Emberwater's den. I growled softly, and glared at my aunt, rushing out of the den to fight the nightmare creature, seeing the glowing white eyes of it, its sharp shining black teeth glimmering in the moonlight, I ran to it, trying to draw its attention to me. I saw it slash Shore on his cheek, throwing him backwards, only to hit his head on a boulder close to the dens exit. I jumped on the large thing, biting it's shoulder. It grabbed me by the scruff and whipped me to the edge of camp. I felt the bright shimmering blood drip from my head,

"Aqua!" Shore rasped, dragging himself to my side, "Stay with me..." He rasped, his cheek bleeding and blood dripping down from his head. As I looked around him, my eyesight blurred, I saw the Nightmare creature running out of camp, whining in pain... or was it regret...?
