Crab has been in the hot sand, letting the scorching sun daze over him.

He's been chill for now, but he still can't come over the fact his family left him. Slowly, he got up and crawled away from his shallow hole of sand, and he walked away with his feelings.
Why would they leave him? Did they forget? Maybe he was still asleep when they left. No one is here to care for him. On this deadly empty beach, no seagulls, no humans, not even gusts of wind, stepped on the beach. He was alone. After two minutes of crawling, he was tired of these thoughts. Maybe he could pray for an animal to kill him now.

It'll be easy, he just...prays.
But, he doesn't know what a prayer is, poor thing.

He made himself comfortable and began sitting. In several attempts, he tripped over grains of sand. He finally had the perfect position.

Until he fell on his side. He struggled to come on the top his legs, and he gave up. He stood there, on his side, thinking about the crab who created him. Why is he alive? Is this a curse?
Which jerk would do this to a crab? Ten minutes passed, and his eyes were still open. He wished he could close them, the sun was too much.
He rolled over to his other side, feeling warmth on his back. This is better, it gave him comfort. If he was human, he'd be crying his heart out. And his heart, would be on the bottom of the ocean, slowly disintegrating. He'd have no heart after.
Crab doesn't know how to survive on his own. He can't catch food, he can't run away from predators, or use his shell. He doesn't know how.
And he will never know how.
