Crab was happy.
Crab found someone, who talks weirdly. He has pretty hair, and a hot body. The sun was not helping Luis. Crab knew it was hot, because he crawled over his bare thighs again. They were burning, so crab flung himself off. He crawled in front of Luis' face, hoping he'd wake up.
Did he die? Will he leave him like his family?
He also found out he needs no animal to kill him, he can run in the water freely.

Luis opened his eyes, and crab walked a little bit further from him, scared, and ready to use his pincers. Tango dancer mode.

"Hey," Luis said in a sleepy voice, covering his eyes from the sun.
Crab snapped his pincers.
"I woke up at like, in the middle of the night, and it was cold,"
Crab snapped his pincers again, interested.
"I took a swim again, I was hot,"
Crab crawled to Luis stomach.
"Hah, you trust me now?"
Crab waved a leg.
"You wanna fight?"
Crab put it down.
"No?"
Luis slowly sat up, and the crab went back down.
"What do we now? Should we walk? I still have my phone here so we're good here,"

Crab walked, leading the way.
"Alright! Let me wear my shirt! I can't be half-naked forever!" He wailed after crab.

'

"Hey, crab?" It stopped, looking at Luis, or maybe something else.
"So- um, I need to take a quick break right now-" Luis walked near the water.
Crab dug himself in the water, thinking he was swimming again.
"I need to piss," Luis whispered.
Crab snapped its pincers in confusion, and Luis walked in the water, taking his shorts off. He flung them on the sand.

"What are you looking at! Creep!"

Crab dug itself deeper in the sand, feeling positive about today. Luis came out of the water, and wore his shorts, not caring if crab saw him naked.

"Ugh..." Luis said, sitting next to crab.
Crab walked out of his hole, and walked further again.
"Hey! I need a break!-" Luis stammered, jogging after him.

"Where-" Luis was interrupted, as crab stopped at a tree.
Behind the tree, were bushes, plants, and a forest.
"Woah..." Luis went in, letting the sticks hit his legs.

He looked at the crab, picking it up. The crab pinched him once.
"You gotta stop pinching me, we trust each other now,"
Crab was silent, and he crawled down his arm, and down to his stomach.

"Ah! My di-"

"Where are you going!" Luis ran after the crab.

The crab led him to a large tree, and there was a clean river/pond behind it.
"You're kinda smart, I'd pat your head right now, but..." The crab stood in his spot, looking sternly, or it was...his resting face?

He slowly touched the shell, patting it with two fingers.
He smiled, and turned his back to the river. He threw himself in the water, pretending he fell in. He sunk a little deeper in the water, and crab was at the edge of the small swimming pool-like river, perhaps worried.

Luis came up, breathing hastily.
He put a hand on his hair and whispered to the crab, "I'm okay, don't worry," He got out of the river, laughing, and sat on the edge of the river, with crab next to him.

"You know," Luis said, thinking if he should talk to a crab about his life.

"I don't have friends, well, perhaps now I do. It's you,"
He sighed, pinching his fingers and fiddling with them.

"No one really...gets me, you know? I pour my heart and soul into them, talking to them, giving them gifts...Then, they rip the piece of paper you poured your ink on. You know? They just shatter the full glass you gave them. I may look all bruised and cut, but no one did it do me. They do slap, punch and do that crap, but I do it to myself, it's...my choice. But I wouldn't call it a...choice,"
The crab, interested in his gentle voice, went on his thigh, and crawled slowly onto his shoulder.

Luis shuddered, a little scared if the crab would kill him.

"My apartment closed down, I could've waited and went in, but I continued crying here,"
Luis stood up, and pulled out a hand for the crab to go on. He walked away from the river, and looked at the crab.

"I...I can't call you crab," The crab slowly snapped its pincers, as if it understood.

"Matai, yeah, that's a good name,"
The crab made itself comfortable on Luis' shoulder, and they walked further into the forest.

'

Crab is smart.
Crab is strong.
Crab will live more than 3-6 years.

He will live longer.
He will be with Luis.
Crab can see Luis and his emotions, so he tried to lead him to a park. The beach is near the park, and people live there.

Or maybe there isn't a park.

But crab is smart.

Matai can bond with a human, how hard is it to please one?
Not hard.

Very easy.
