The three of them had opted to sit on the side of the loggia, Jungkook sat opposite to the olders.

A tensed air surrounded them, once the chirping atmosphere around the omega took a turn, the gloominess evolved around the three omegas.

Jimin and Taehie shared a windy glance, worried about disclosing the truth behind Taehyung's action and words, and Jungkook, his palms were sweaty, anticipating the flash news behind the nonchalant, resentful words thrown on him by his mate.

There was a voice in his head whispering the interpretation and perspectives here revealed by the other two were only to be theirs; however, his intellect poked his brain, heart murmuring he would be trapped in a whirlwind of emotions unknown about the truth hidden in the deepest part of the soul of the alpha.

He had seen those curtained eyes giving null emotions, refusing to unveil the turmoils swirling behind the deep hazel orbs, voice that spoke very less unwilling to slip any sense of heartstrings.

This reveal will give him no clarification nor the attachments, notions and belief his alpha truthfully carried.

With each passing minute, the tension only thickened, and unspoken fears churned among them.

As if the cue Taehie took a sigh "He never wanted a mate, Jungkook-ah," and Jungkook stared, thoughts clouting inside his head his eyes held remorse, his ideas taking another conclusion, panicking he stumbled with his words.

"Luna, I should have been aware, informed, the pain of rejection might have just been worth, than the regret and guilt of separating two lovers, you should have told me." Jungkook expressed with desperation, the mere thought of rejection ignited his body alive, not only his heart but he could feel his bones crack in the most unbearable form, the alpha may having significant other who he cherished, the thought left him hollow, Jungkook's soul wailed, tears clung to his eyelashes more forming at the end of his iris.

The thought of his mate loving someone else is painful but being the one to separate the two willing to cherish each other, precarious he could never forgive himself of yielding a heartbreak upon the only person he adored.

Jimin and Taehie exchanged frantic glances, alarmed by the desperation in Jungkook's face as he neared the brink of a breakdown, misinterpreting their words.

Jimin moved quickly, sitting beside Jungkook and rubbing his back in comfort.

"'As wolves live and breathe', Jungkookie, breathe. No, Taehyung has never had a lover. In fact, he's never even looked at anyone that way." His voice was steady, and Taehie nodded along, her expression reassuring.

Jungkook peered at them through tear-streaked lashes, his sobs softening into sniffles, cheeks and nose flushed pink.

Taehie moved cupping his cheeks gently.

"No, Jungkook-ah. Taehyung has always been a tsundere, what you'd call 'anti-romantic' since childhood. We thought it was a phase alas it wasn't. However, you have nothing to worry about. He's never had anyone significant." She cooed at him, a soft smile gracing her lips as she took in his pink, teary face.

Inwardly, she marveled at his kindness. 'Why are you so good, Jungkook?' Willing to accept rejection just to avoid separating two lovers. The thought filled her with warmth. Jimin shared her sentiment, admiring the way Jungkook, unlike anyone else, was more anxious over the idea of causing pain to his mate than about claiming him. 'You're too pure, Jungkook-ah', he thought.
