A little clarification about last chapter. Some readers were confused. Did Taehyung suddenly fall in love?after with all the emotional distance?and rejection? No absolutely Not.
The last chapter heavily focused on their current emotions, conflicts and newly forming sentiments. And it gave a close perspective of Taehyung's thoughts and circumstances. It showed his development in emotions, progression of his notions. He just started to acknowledge his emotions toward his mate. So No his character did not change abruptly---it was a gradual development from last few chapters there were subtle shifts in his actions toward Jungkook if you have noticed carefully! It may look like that solely because we didn't have his pov for most of the book his personality wass left pretty mysterious. And oh if you have noticed and have read cautiously there were obvious hints for Taehyung's denial and rejection hahhah...
If you still feel a little lost I hope this two chapters will give the reveal...

When they were back Jungkook met with his parents and hyungs who had arrived half an hour ago.
The omega beams as he greets his parents and hyungs.
"Mom, Dad welcome" He hugs them deliberately, smiling wide.
"We missed you too, son" they both giggle, squeezing the younger in their hold.
"I think you didn't miss me" two sulky voices came at the same time, Jungkook grins
The omega turns around "Of course, I missed you too" he giggles hugging Yoongi and Seokjin.
“Jungkookie" Another voice makes him detach and run to the open embrace.
"Eunwoo, I missed you too much, you didn't visit me and I didn't get to see you for long," Jungkook grumbled, hugging his cousin.
Eunwoo chuckles "I am sorry, I was too busy with the pack and learning these elders didn't leave my bum for months" Eunwoo complains snuggling his nose into the raven hair of the omega.
"You're going to spend time with me" Jungkook demands while the alpha hums agreeing with whatever is told to him.
"Greetings, Father, and Mother " Taehyung greeted his in-laws giving them an affectionate hug.
"Hello, son, how are you doing," Ji-Yeong asks.
"I am fine, how have you been doing?" the alpha counters back. And receives chirping fines as an answer.
Taehyung greets the other hyungs with a warm smile and hugs. Patting Eunwoo's back when he greets politely bowing down ninety degrees he admires Taehyung and the young alpha is dramatic too. Jungkook shook his head at his cousin's antics.
"Guys where were you though," Jungkook's mother asks curiously.
"Went to fetch the clothes for tonight" the raven answers, trying to muffle his giggles at the memory of today's r incident.
"Alright, you guys brought them, how're they fitting?" Taehie questions.
"Perfect, right" they both unison similarly.
