This wasn't how the night was supposed to be going but Taehyung was agitated, his wolf was edgy he felt the back of his memory pouch tear apart the emotions started to peer open passing through his nerves like pulsing blood he had to run before they present him clearer what was the reason his heart delivered warningly the tightening coming back again and shielding the red organ he was afraid of the things he wasn't aware.

He can feel V's irked breaths as he walks in his wolf form even though he was in his animal form he was still in control.

He took a turn walking back towards the pond.

'What's wrong with you V' he snapped at his wolf who was snarling and hissing in his head.

"I don't fucking know" the wolf spat back.

Taehyung hissed at the tone 'Your emotions are fucking with me' Taehyung's tone was harsh as he blinked his eyes giving control to his wolf.

Reaching the pond, the wolf sat on its hind legs seeing the reflection reflecting an image of his wolf form, the ear cuff bound to his ear caught the attention, V's thoughts tracked back to the omega again, his stomach churning, the cuff sheens in the moonlight.

The emotions flooded back sorrow, pain, hurt, bliss, and grief accompanied by disbelief and buried lies.

The eyes took a hue of bloody red as the wolf snarls at him again.

"Aren't your emotions already fucked" a taunt hidden behind a plain statement.

The wolf felt the emotions of his human.

Taehyung sighed his own and V's emotions are identical but V's are intense making his sentiments complicated.

'Th-they are complicated' Taehyung draws out.

"Mine are serious" V retorts.

Taehyung groans 'Accepting him as mate feels like getting into a maze V but a grain of salt part is blissful,' he said.

"AGAIN the same grain part warnings comprise" V continues.

'Dreamt of him' Taehyung's eyes display emotions.

"He's a nightmare," his wolf snaps.

'It feels so strange,' the human sighs.

"Familiar and wrench at the same time" V's iris glisten.

'The sentiments seem unclear' Taehyung exhales.

"Mind and heart seem to be cleared" V lets his words sink into his head letting his human process.

"Right, stay away nothing is real 'the heart contradicts' " Taehyung's voice resonates as they shifts into human form covering himself with the clothes he returns to the pack house.

The omega stood on the balcony, his gaze fixed on the night sky. His eyes glimmered softly as he counted under his breath, "One seventy-seven, one seventy-eight..."

"Stop counting the stars, Kookie. It's pointless," his wolf whispered in his mind.

Jungkook flinched at the bitterness in his own voice as he responded aloud, "Just like our mate bond."

His wolf's paws clawed at his tail, restlessly curling as his ears drooped in frustration at his words.

"Just like how counting the stars is endless, our bond too is boundless," the wolf's voice murmured softly, unwavering in its belief.
