well, the funeral was just a disaster, Dasia thought as uncle Zacharias drove her to uncle Sins House. her eyes felt like she hasn't blinked in years, and her throat was throbbing.

and she sat not only with Zayden, but on him! god she is such an idiot.

her face flushed red as she imagined what he was thinking right now. but watching her parents funeral was to much to deal with. now, as she thought, she was really an orphan. her parents where gone for good. She rested her warm forehead on the glass as they turned onto uncle sin's street. Now her street two. uncle  Zacharias pulled into the driveway, and she let outa breath  as she unbuckled.

"hold on a minute, ash." uncle Zacharias said in his serious  voice.

uh-oh. what did she do now?

"ya?" she asked, trying to be innocent. he looked at her with his blue eyes.

"what is between you and that punk?" a blush stained her cheeks.

"do you mean Zayden?" uncle Zacharias nodded. "nothing. he doesn't want anything to do with me." she said on a shrug.

"it doesn't seem like he wants nothing to do with you." Dasia sighed as she thought back to the several times Zayden has been there to comfort her.

"i don't know why. when i'm so upset, he's just there. like a bad cold. when I don't want anyone around, he is here. he comforts me. then he turns around and snaps saying he doesn't want anyone to know that he has a soft side. and that he would ignore me." her uncle listened with out interrupting her. he sighed.

"i don't know what to tell you about boys, Ash." he admitted. "from what it sounds like, he is very protective of you, and he doesn't want to admit it to himself that he could have deeper feelings then lust and stoicism." Dasia sighed.

"i know. it just sucks that he is really hot to look at, and when were alone, he is one of the sweetest guys I know, but when he leaves, hes the biggest jerk in the world." she admitted. uncle Zacharias's face went dark.

"you better not be alone with him. ever." he said, his tone deadly.

"it was only the one time. and im over him now." uncle zacharias let out a breath as he relaxed.

"get in there, Honey, and do what you want. your aunt and uncle are busy right now. you have the day to yourself." pleased, she jumped out of his truck, and before she closed the door, her uncle stopped her.

"and get some blood into you. your to pale." he said. she sighed and closed the car door.

After Zacharias made sure she was in the house, he put his truck in gear and drove off. it would be alot easier to teleport to where he wanted to go, but it wasnt worth his truck being stolen.

his mind kept repeting what his neice said about her and zaydens relationship, and it pissed him off.

no one was worth Ash, especially not this little punk.

he stopped infront of a grand mansion, just outside town, and turned off his engin. he flashed to the front step and rang the door bell.

a few seconds later, a butler opened the door, his suit was imaculate, and his white beard and hair trimmed to persfection.

may i help you?"  he asked in a bored voice.

"i would like to talk to master Zayden." Zacharias said, in his no nononsence voice.
