They arrived at the funeral home half an hour later.  Instead of having an awkward car ride with aunt cassia,  uncle zechariah let her hitch a ride with him. They funeral home was nice.  But really grey.  There was no color to it,  and it bleed into the nature. Surrounding the small building on the edge of the cemetery.  There where a lot of expensive cars taking up the driveway.  They had to park on the street, a half Block away.  She got out and stood on the sidewalk,  staring at the funeral home.  Her parents where in there. Uncle zacharias came up behind her,  and pulled her to his side gently.

"you don't have to go in there." he said gently.  She shook her head.

"I need to see them one last time." she said softly.  He nodded.

"don't forget.  If any shit or drama happens,  we will clear it.  This is for us.  For you.  Not for these humans. " she nodded and they started forward.  It felt like they where walking in quick sand.  Like her mind was trying to get her to turn the other way but her body had to keep going.

She suddenly couldn't breath, and she started to panic inside her mind.

She could use heard a little girl screaming for her parents,  for her dad to save her and her mom to hold her.

She can't do this.  There I no way she can do this.  All her bravo before was gone,  replaced by her blind panic.

She could hear uncle zacharias in her hear,  asking her what's wrong, but it was like hearing him from the other side of a thick glass.

Then a presence registered in her mind,  one that tried down her spine,  touching every nerve and cell.  She could feel him.

She could suddenly see him clearly, standing just behind her left shoulder,  silent,  and waiting.

She noticed everything about him.  The calming rhythm of his breathing,  the steady drums of his heart.  They way his eyes shone in the sun.  Her breath automatically started to match his,  trying to slow down.

Slowly her head cleared,  her heart beat slowing down.  She barley saw the small nod of approval Zayden sent her. She noticed uncle sin was walking towards them,  face filled with worry. Uncle zacharias. Didn't know what to do.

"I'm OK now."she told them.

"are you sure? Cause I will drive your as back home if you scare me like that again." his voice was more gruff,  and low.  She nodded.

"I'm sorry. "uncle zacharias pulled her into a quick hug,  then pulled back.

" I understand." he said,  and straightened.  He wrapped an arm around her shoulder as uncle sin joined them,  his face pinched with worry.

"is everything OK?" uncle sin asked.

"we're OK." Dasia said.  Uncle sin briefly glanced at Zayden behind her before turning around and walked to join his family.

The small group walked up the path to the nice element doors of the funeral home.  They entered,  found  their last name on the small bulletin board,  and went over to the room.

It was packed.  There where so many people it was hard to even breath let alone, move.

"where did these people come from?" she whispered, eyeing them with hostility.

"work, most likely." he said,  then started to walk,  not caring if they shot him dirty like.  Her,  on the other hand,  was turning molten red. She could see her grandfather through the thinking crowd the closer they got to the coffins.

Oh god,  the coffins

She clenched the bottom of her shirt tightly,  her heart starting to escalate.
