I was surrounded by five mages, and three were keeping a barrier going that kept me trapped. Despite being trapped, I wished that I could see my friends.

The thoughts of my friends and the desire to see them caused energy to stir inside me. My vision grew a bright shade of red. I cried out loudly, releasing the energy that was stirring in me. The sound echoed within the space before cracks started to form on the green barrier.

"Crrsh," the barrier shattered.

"How?!" the witch questioned.

"I was told it was her potential," a mage answered.

"That is why we are to bring her in."

Causing the barrier to break was all I could muster. I collapsed to the ground, not having the energy to get back up.

They eagerly approached me with hopes of kidnapping me. However, I could feel a force coming at incredible speeds. The reading I felt was not pleasant—yet familiar.

Miranda dashed into the scene with her eyes glowing a very bright shade of red than her already crimson eyes. Red energy swirled around her, appearing like a red vortex centered on her.

She eyed the mage who had been shooting me before instantly getting in his face. She slammed her elbow into his side, sending him flying and crashing about. He did not appear to be getting up from that blow.

His partner pointed and attempted to fire an even stronger bolt they used on me. Miranda swiftly bent out of the way before lunging her knee into him, knocking him over. The vortex around her took a form that looked similar to her own that cloaked her body. With that energy, she punched the nearest mage who assisted at the barrier's helm.

The witch began to panic seeing all her comrades taken down so suddenly. She attempted to run away, but Miranda chased her down. Miranda sank her fangs into the witches neck, causing them to instantly drop to the ground.

"I-I have her!" the last mage held me up. "Stop it now!" He was rather dastardly for taking me hostage.

Miranda slowly walked up with her red aura vertexing around her. Once she got near, the aura retook its feminine form and grabbed hold of the man hoisting him up in the air freeing me. Finding me released, Miranda launched the man against a wall.

Now that all of the mages had been dispatched, Miranda brought me in for a hug. I hugged her back with tears streaming down my cheeks.

"Please never leave my side again," Miranda ordered.

"I-I sowwy..." I cried. "I thought I saw Wuwi..."

"That is okay, but I am happy you held out this long. I am impressed you broke the barrier."

"I am not sure how I did that, if I am being honest."

"Hmm, I think you most likely broke their concentration on the spell. Which is a rather strong ability to have in your hands." She picked me up via princess carry. "Let us get back to your friends."

Now that the struggle was over, I could feel an urge to go number two take hold of me. That fear caused me to be unable to hold it. The mess began to push out into my wet Easy-Ups Vampers and began to sag down due to the weight.

"Uh oh," I turned red. "Hehehe."

"Haha. It's okay, just this once. You sure went in your pants, though."
