Persona 6: Rise of Eris

Chapter 5

Yaz awoke in some strange world. She looked around to see that it was Okinawa dried up and colorless. She then noticed someone walking slowly on a treadmill and noticed something about him. "Ryu?"

"Oh, goody, you're here!" Ryu turned around to reveal himself to be very old.

Yaz yelped in shock and then Ryu shoved some wheat in her mouth and said, "Why don't you just chew on this? I'm hungry. Om nom, nom, nom."

Yaz suddenly was on the treadmill going backward really fast. She spat out the wheat and tried to run off but the treadmill was too fast and she fell out of a door and landed on someone's leg. The lady whose leg belonged to moaned in pain and was Aika right next to three tombstones with Anna, Granny, and Wanda's names. Aika noticed Yaz and said, "I'm just messin' with ya. I lost all feeling in this thing years ago!"

Elderly Aika laughed and then fell asleep. Yaz gulped and asked, "Aika? Why do you look like that?"

She then got her hand stepped on by a cane and saw what appeared to be an old Megumi. Old Megumi groaned weakly and said, "Look who's talking!"

"Megumi? Why are you guys so...elderly?"

"And when was the last time you looked in a mirror?"

"Huh?"

Yaz bumped into a mirror and then saw Asuka. Yaz screamed, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Asuka pulled out of the mirror and started to choke Yaz. Suddenly, Magatsu-Izanagi, Yuandi, Loki, and the shark from JAWS appeared and attacked the hero. 

End of Nightmare

Yaz startled awake and hyperventilated in fear. She looked around the room and saw that Bucky was missing. She stepped out of the bed and saw the strange sky that was now dark red and there were people turned into coffins. "Okay..."

She then saw that Excalibur was sheathed by her waist and pulled it out. The silver double-edged blade and golden crown-like figure of the sword brought back memories. Wait...If Excalibur is here...

She went to the mirror and saw that she was in her old SEES suit. "Oh, no! I'm Mage again! Maybe Wanda's changed too..."

She went to Wanda's room and saw that she wasn't there. Kairi!

Yaz then went to Kairi's room to see that she was turned into a coffin as well. Yaz gasped in horror and thought that Margaret was true the entire time. She then heard the doorbell ding and said, "Oh, thank God! It's probably Stone or one of the others."

She walked to the door and suddenly the doorknob had sparks coming around it and then the door was forced open to see that was Eris stepping outside. The goddess smoked from her cigarette and then coughed. "Oh, God...So sorry I'm late. Traffic was a nightmare."

Eris then laughed and put out her cigarette. "Get it? The traffic stopped since people are now coffins."

"Who are you?" Yaz asked.

The goddess chuckled. "You SERIOUSLY don't know me?! I'm Eris! The Greek Goddess of Discord and Chaos? One of the daughters of Nyx? Sister of Thanatos, Apate, Hypnos, and Styx? The Golden Apple of Discord? Does any of that ring a bell?"

"Uhh.....No...No clue..."

Damn...This kid must not be smart as I think she was... Eris thought as she sighed. "But that won't matter since you'll be dead."

"What? What do you want?"

Eris giggled and floated around Yaz. "Why, I'm simply bringing the end of the world thanks to the Fall."
