No One's POV

The next day Matt messaged Joella regarding their date.

"Dress fancy my lady."

"How fancy? Fancy like going to a ball with the queen? Or fancy like dinner with the president?"

He couldn't help but chuckle at her reply before he messaged back, "Nah, not the ball fancy, although I am having dinner with a princess."

"Pft I'm far from a princess. But does that mean you're my knight in shiny armor? 😜"

"You're right you're not a princess, but you are my queen. And I'll be anything you want me to be 😉."

"My goodness! Haha but I'll make sure to dress fancy."

Later that evening Matt showed up in a nice dress shirt and some dress pants.

"Damn." He breathed out as he rubbed his cheek seeing her.

"I'm not too overdressed am I?" She glanced down at herself as she ran her hands down her hips.

She was wearing a dress that went to her ankles, the top half was blue laced that faded down to white with a slit that went up to her thigh. As for the shoes she went opted for some wedges instead of regular heels.

He had to clear his throat as he cleared his thoughts from her beauty, "No, um, sorry, you're not overdressed. It's perfect. You're beautiful tonight I mean you're always beautiful but-"

She couldn't help but giggle as she cut him off, "Oh Good, when you said fancy I was hoping this wasn't over doing it."

"No babe." He snaked his arms around her waist, normally she only came to his shoulders but with the wedges she was the same height as him, "You look amazing."

"Awe thank you." She rest her hands on his shoulders, "You don't look bad yourself."

They then kissed each other softly. After he stepped away he held his hand out to her.

"Shall we go?" He smiled.

She nodded slightly as she took a hold of his hand, "We shall."

He then led her to his car. He opened the passenger door for her then he went around and got into the driver's side. Once he started the car, he pulled away from the house.

"So, where we headed?"

"You'll see." He winked.

"Awe not going to tell me?" She giggled.

"Nope." He beamed, he wanted it to be a surprise for her.

"Damn." She smirked as she snapped her fingers.

When they got to the restaurant, they got out for the valet then walked in.

"Reservations for Sanders." He told the hostess who, after looking up the reservation, then led them to their table.

"Baby, oh my!" She grinned when they were seated, "How'd you get us into this place? I've heard you have to book weeks in advance."

The waiter took their drink order then walked away.

He shrugged with a smirk, "I have my ways."

"This place." She looks around at the scenery, "This place is beautiful."

"Only the best for you." He reached over and grabbed her hand as they got their drinks.

She decided to take that opportunity to mess with him, "Why because of my family's financial status? Think I only want to go to fancy places. I'll have you know I'm content with just the simplest plain restaurants too."
