1.Gift: A promising present

It has been a week since Lloyd agreed on going on a date with Javier. Both were nervous ever since then.

Javier walked up and down his flat while stressing about what to give Lloyd for their first date. He had been restless the last two days before their date. And talking non stop to his flatmate and shared friend of Lloyd and him.

"Ay don't be like that. I know he will like whatever you give him"

Alicia said in a slightly annoyed tone. She wants to shake Javier in the most aggressive way for stressing about a present all week and constantly asking what he should wear, buy and say to Lloyd.

"But I want to give him something meaningful! Not just some chocolate box he will forget in a bat of an eye"

"Then give him flowers!"

She groaned and leaned her forehead on the table in front of her. Silently she wondered how the brunet could make Javier that nervous.

"You're brilliant!"

Javier answered enthusiastically and snapped a finger. Alicia was getting hopes that he would stop annoying her with it, but suddenly the blue haired man's expression changed.

"What kind of flowers tho? Red roses? No that's too much. What about-"

"Violets! Get violets. He knows a lot of flower meanings and Violets mean faithfulness. It will be a declaration to him to show that he can trust you"

The red head swore that she saw his eyes sparkle before he rushed to his jacket.

"That's it! We're going flower shopping, come on Alicia"

With a last groan she got up and followed Javier out of the door.

*ding dong*
Lloyd heard his doorbell ringing and took a last glance at his mirror before rushing to the door, past his flatmate, who was lazily sitting on the couch, watching Lloyd hastily fiddle with his outfit.

"Hey! Sorry for taking so long-"

Lloyd stopped in the middle of his sentence and turned his head to look at the bouquet in Javier's hand.

"I thought you might like flowers…"

Javier said, fading out to the end. He saw how Lloyds eyes softened, from hast and nervous to soft and in love.

"Thank you, they are lovely. Violets are great…God you're so cheesy. If I had known I would have gotten you something too"

"You accepting my invitation is enough"

Lloyd felt a light heat rest on his cheeks and quickly placed the bouquet in a vase before following Javier out of the door.

"I'll be going, Arosh! See you later!"

2.Gift: My heart in a paper wrap

"Javier! Over here!"

Lloyd waved his hand to catch Javier's attention and patted on the seat beside him.
The blue haired walked over and sat down.

"Quite busy, isn't it?"

"Second that. I hope you don't mind that we're sitting in front of the big window"
