Jenny frowned at her laptop; disapproval apparent on her face. She had read through her story again, and she wasn't satisfied with what she had written.
One of her characters, Esther, was especially infuriating. Her Mary Sue character was too "by the books" for Jenny's tastes, but she didn't know what to do with her character as well.
After considering it a bit longer, Jenny made up her mind. Instead of inventing a new persona, why not just kill her?
