Jenny sighed with relief. It was 11:57 p.m., 3 minutes before her story was due, and the story she was forced to write for English was finally finished. Now all she had to do was submit it, and she could enjoy her weekend. As her pointer hovered over the submit button, her computer glitched.
A small dialogue box appeared, containing foreign sentences. Moments later, it closed.
"Shit!" Jenny exclaimed, seeing the clock tick to 11:58. She frantically clicked the red button to close the document, but it stubbornly stayed open.
Jenny spun around in her swivel chair, sweat beading on her forehead. When she turned around, however, she was horrified.
Without her touching it, her cursor deleted her narrative, replacing it with sentences of its own. The cursor's story ended on one last note: Goodbye, Jenny.
