We left the hospital together and I clambered into y/n's car, worrying a little.

"Hey, it's okay," she whispered and took my hand in hers gently.

"I know... it's just the last time I was in a car..." I looked nervously to the pedals and y/n cupped my face gently.

"I promise I'll keep you safe."

I nodded tentatively and she started the engine, after I clipped my seatbelt in.

We drove down the road at a comfortable speed.

"Where are we going?" I frowned a little.

"I just need to collect something." She smiled softly and kept looking at the road. I was about ti ask, but then she stopped the car outside a small house and turned the ignition off. "Give me two minutes."

And I watched her walk up to the house and knock, before the door opened and she walked in.

I unclipped my belt and located my phone in the bottom of my hospital bag. I had a lot of missed calls from my parents.

I sighed and turned around, looking in the back of the car quickly, when I saw an odd plastic contraption on the top of the backseat. Just as i was about to look closer, y/n left the house holding... A BABY?!

She smiled gently down at the carrier and opened the back door.

"Sorry, Mum's going out tonight, so I said I'd take her back," she said quietly and strapped the carrier down onto the plastic contraption in the back, before she closed the door silently and got back into the drivers seat.

"Is she..." I raised an eyebrow.

"Mine?"

I nodded.

"Yeah, she's only four months old. Her dad isn't in the picture though." She smiled calmly and restarted the car, made sure I was belted in and then drove off again.

"Does she... have a name?" I frowned, looking at the baby carrier behind her.

"Willow." She smiled at me and then turned back to the road.

The baby made a gurgling noise in the back and I frowned a little. All we'd ever wanted was a baby, and this woman, who hadn't known me, had given up time with her baby to make sure I was okay. I just couldn't understand.

"What're you thinking about?" She frowned, as she pulled up outside a huge house.

"You. How you have up time with her to be with me," I whispered.

"I knew she'd be alright. You on the other hand," she sighed and got out of the car, after giving my hand a little squeeze.

She got Willow out of the back and we all walked inside together.
