The first thing I do when I get to school is look for Ace. I didn't find him with CJ and the rest so I went to the parking lot. And there he was. Sitting with a group of loud boys. He looked out of it. I walk towards them with confidence.
The closer I get to him the more I feel my body getting weaker.
He must have felt something as well because he looked me right in the eyes. His green eyes seem to get brighter pulling me in. Trapping me.
By the time I finally got to the group I felt as though I was going to fall over.
I greeted them with as much confidence as I could master.
" Ace, may I please speak to you." He looked like he was going to fight me. But he stood up and walked right pass me. Smart move, making me follow him gives him a power position.
He walked towards the school but I changed directions and sat down on the bench. Taking power back!
He turns around with his hands in front of him and gives me a "talk" look.
"Lets not play dumb with each other okay?" I say.
He doesn't say anything.
"What happed yesterday?"
"My sister had a bellyache." He says
" I asked you nicely, please don't annoy me."
He looks at me like I'm crazy " I don't know what your talking about."
I stand up, which was a bad idea because I was dizzier then I realised.
He holds his hands out incase he needs to catch me. " You okay?" I ignore his question and make sure to give him my most evil glare.
"So your saying I'm crazy, I imagined it all?"
He looks slightly hurt. He opens his mouth then closes it. Just say it. I'm not crazy.
"The bell rang, you should get to class." He makes sure I'm steady then walks away. Leaving me in heat and with tingles all over my body.
Lunch time comes around and CJ Dante and Ace aren't at the table. Kacy and Oliver are talking about something they clearly think is exciting.
"Hey Zee, I hope you don't mind me calling you Zee?" Kacy says
"Its okay, whats up?" She has lot more energy today.
"There is a party happening at a seniors house, you should come. It will be a great way for you to meet a lot more people."
Shes right, a party will be a great way to communicate. I'm not trying to be seen but maybe I'll get to know a bit more about this city.
"When is it happening?"
" Friday" Kacy says with a jump of excitement.
" Wear anything you want" Oliver tells me.
CJ sits at the table with a bunch of colourful papers. She looks annoyed and slightly scared.
" Whats wrong?" They ask
She gives me a glare "His not happy, we need to be sharper until told otherwise."
They all look at me then look away. Are they watching me? Who told them to? This is getting annoying, why won't they just tell me whats happening.
" We should go dress shopping" CJ changes the subject.
The girls immediately agree. Great, another way to learn more about them
" I'll pick everyone up on Thursday after school " CJ says.
Sadly I don't have a car so I have to agree.
