#Xander's pov#
.

It's fun to tease this wonderful girl sometimes but she have this habit of getting on my nerves. Why will a girl be so stubborn and unmovable? It's clear from her reactions that everything i do disgust her, then why is she not pushing me away anytime i touch her?

She is really hard to read. I doubt if she even have favourite things. Her expression hardened when i pulled away from her during the kiss like as if i took away something so precious to her.

This girl, she never fail to amuse me sometimes.

". . . Break up with your boyfriend and come to me now." I dare her to see her reaction. My expression still remain the same as she glared at me. She look at me like am crazy.

"You are sick." She spat the word cruelly " what i have for you is simply lust and nothing more. I can easily get rid of the feeling. If you think i will come running to you, then you are wrong, Mr CEO."

She said and turned toward the door, storming her way out. I can't just lose her like that even if i have to force her to love me. She is relentless about it and that fueled my rage. She wanted me as much as i do, so why tying your self down and hurting my feeling?

"Then sign a contract with me,mia Maxwell."

I said before i could think carefully of it. It's the only way i was sure i could trap her with me. She slowly turned and the inhuman look i saw on her face made me swallowed deeply.

I took the first step when she didn't say anything and i slowly walked toward her to let her understand my intention better.

"Sign a love contract with me mia, a one year contract to satisfy our lust for each other. No strings attached. Just lust and desires for both of us." I said when i reach a close distance between us.

Her expression has changed but she didn't move from her spot." I know you want it too. Don't deny yourself of it. Be mine for that whole year and if things doesn't change between us, then, i will let you go."

Her gaze first fell to the floor and she didn't utter a word. She raised her eyes after few seconds and started taking few steps toward me.

I watch what she intended to do. Maybe she will reconsider that but i was mistaken of what her intention was when she move closer and her hand roughly landed on my face with a stinging contact.

She laughed sarcastically when she saw my reaction." So you can be pained too when you are being hit? Exactly how that hit me too when you utter that foolish statement."

" Do i look like a slut to you, Xander Christopher?! How dare you mock me, you sociopath! You better stay away from me! "

She spat and turned her back at me.

" Okay, let's see who will first submit to the other." I said calmly and turn to take my seat behind my desk.

She didn't turn to look at me and just storm out of my office, slamming the door. I couldn't help but chuckled at her cuteness.

"You asked for it first."

# Mia's pov #

I choked on the air around me as i closed the door with fury. I leaned on the wall close to me to prevent me from falling. I couldn't explain the feeling i was going through right now.

It's both rage and embarrassment and shock. I breathe heavily as i remember the first phase of our actions. It lit my face on fierce fire. my hand involuntarily went to my lips and i nearly chuckled when my mind flooded with images of his lips hotly on mine.

I was also angry because that jerk consider me as a slut who craves a man's touch. The contract was an insult to me. He could have just ask me out properly if he is sure of his feelings but he choose to ignore my feeling and go ahead with his own lust.

I straightened my messy hair and clothes as i entered the elevator. I already forgot that i suppose to be at the feast with my teammates since. I watched anxiously as the number changed till the elevator dinged and it opened.

I walked out quietly and suspiciously to the table. They were all concerned when they saw me. I just kept praying deeply that they shouldn't notice how flushed my face is.

" We were worried about you when we didn't see you come. Did he reject the proposal again? What kept you so long?" Alex asked when i approach them.

" Nothing. He accepted the drafts."

I just smiled and moved to my desk, exhausted suddenly and distracted. He handed my credit card back to me but they still fixed their gaze on me, trying to figure out what's going on.

I stood up from my chair." You can eat the remaining. I am going to the rest room." I said.

" Wait for me." Liv said and stole a glance at me before we headed to the restroom. I am aware that, her following me to the restroom means nothing than questioning time.

I just let her follow me to keep me company. When we entered, she didn't wait before she hit me with all the questions.

" Something happened at his office right? Did he scold you? Why do you look so gloomy and why are you sweating profusely when it's cold? . Tell me now!"

" Liv. Kindly unhook your cuff around my mouth. Nothing happened." I said tiredly. I was about to add something when we heard whispering in one of the bathrooms.
We stopped to listen carefully.

". . One assignment and you couldn't do it right! Why did you revealed everything to them?" The voice whispered. We leaned our ears further

"Am sorry. I didn't expect them to crash everything like that. I should have been more careful. He said he will meet with you tomorrow." Another different voice said quietly.

" What about that blonde girl? Are you sure she is fired?" The first voice said. My eyes blinked severally with shock. Liv already prepared to burst inside but i held her and we waited.

" I am not sure.." the light voice said nervously." I will be sure to check that."

" You better or i will make your life messy too!" The first voice snapped at her. We stood in preparation for a tough fight. The door finally opened and they both froze at the door frightened as if they have just seen devil itself.

I and Liv stopped them from leaving, knowing that this night is going to be a long one indeed.
