Omniscient
Wedding Day

Taking in a big breath, Melissa looked into the eyes of the man she loved, and hoped to spend the rest of her life with. Wiping the tears that collected under her eyes she glanced down at the handwritten vows in between her fingers.

Clearing her throat she began to recite her vows,

"Zach, the past two years have been everything that I've ever hoped for. Every time I look at you my heart begins to flutter uncontrollably knowing that you're going to be mine forever. You're not just my study buddy, you're my best friend, you're my partner in crime, and most importantly you're the love of my life. I can't imagine how my life would be without you, but I'm happy that I'll never have to find out. I love you for better or for worse."

Wiping her eyes for her, Zachary couldn't wait to complete their marriage ceremony with a kiss. Though his mother thought otherwise, he knew that Melissa loved him for him and not because his father had a successful business. He knew they were still young but also knew that Lissa was the one for him no matter what anyone thought.

"You may now kiss your bride." Smiling brightly at the sweet words coming out of the minister's mouth, Zach lifted Lissa's chin up slightly and pressed his lips against hers. Tasting her sweet taste reassured him that he didn't want to kiss nobody else in the world, Melissa Jean Haines was enough.

Present Day

Quickly packing Zach's lunch into the lunchbox, Melissa grabbed her keys in a hurry to get to his office. She had thirty minutes to get to his office so she could avoid to hear his mouth when he got home today. Peeling out of the driveway, Lissa sped her way to his job making it with five minutes to spare.

Pulling down the sun visor and fixing any small detail that messed up in the process of making his lunch. Getting out of the car, Lissa checked her torso in the car window's tint. Brushing her hand over her dress, and running her tongue over her teeth, once she was up to Zach's standards, Lissa headed towards the entrance.

"Good afternoon Mrs. Haines." Melissa was greeted throughout my way up to the twentieth floor where the higher ups offices were. Melissa's father-in-law's office was the only office on the twenty-first floor. It was in Zach's best efforts to be able to travel to the next floor whenever his father retired.

"Hey Isabelle, is he in?" Melissa asked his secretary as she collected any messages he had waiting for him on her desk.

"He has a guest, but they should be finishing up." Melissa raised an eyebrow. Usually any business partner he discussed anything with was in the meeting room. Zach was extremely strict about staying in the same routine, and almost never did anything spontaneously when it came to business.

"Male or female?" Lissa couldn't help but ask. Though she had no proof of Zach ever cheating on her, she knew that didn't mean he never did anything with anybody.

Isabelle catching onto the reasoning behind the question with Melissa's tone of words shook her head. "Male, but you already know Mr. Haines isn't the type to be unfaithful." Isabelle said genuinely. Knowing from her own personal experience with her boss. Mr. Haines didn't even look at her for a second when she tried seducing him. He was firm about telling her that her job wasn't secure and since then she never tried anything else with him.

Knowing that no one could know for sure if Zach was faithful or not, Lissa just took Isabelle's words as a confidence boost. "Only God knows," Lissa said making her way around the desk to Zach's office. She gave two swift knocks before being told to come in. "I've brought lunch." Lissa stated while making her way into the office. Her smile grew wider than before when she saw her baby brother across from Zachary.
