The same day . At night ;

The Jeon family, accompanied by Anaya and Shali, anxiously awaited the DNA test results within the confines of their private hospital. As a family with extraordinary secrets, they couldn't risk visiting a regular hospital, where their unusual origins might be discovered, sparking chaos and unwanted attention. The stakes were high, and they had to be cautious.

As the clock struck nine, the doctor arrived, followed by a young girl who looked visibly shaken and distressed. Her face, once a picture of confidence, now wore a look of trepidation. Anaya and Arthur were the only ones who seemed to notice the girl's fragile state.

The girl hesitantly held out the paper containing the test results, her hand trembling slightly as she waited for the doctor's confirmation. The doctor scrutinized the paper, her expression solemn.

"It's positive, my king," she announced, her voice laced with a hint of disappointment. She, too, seemed unhappy with the results.

Arthur's eyes widened in surprise, his face etched with a mix of shock and dismay. "What?" he exclaimed, his voice tinged with incredulity. He had been so certain that the results would put an end to the nonsense, but it seemed he had been mistaken.

As he glanced at Anaya, he noticed the effort she was making to hold back her tears. The sight filled him with regret, and he mentally cursed himself for his foolishness.

Joseph, meanwhile, looked stunned, his mind reeling with the implications of the results. "This...how can it be?" he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper, as he struggled to comprehend the unexpected turn of events.

The royal doctor's words cut through the air, her tone a mixture of scolding and disappointment. As someone who had been close to the Jeon family for years, she had earned the right to speak her mind. Moreover, she was one of the select few who knew the family's deepest secrets, including Arthur's.

"You should know it, better Arthur. It's yours," she said, her eyes narrowing in reprimand.

"How can you be so dumb? She is not even your mate, and now that Anaya is here, how are you going to solve this? What will the people say when they find out that you, their future king, are having a child out of wedlock and on top of that, the person is not even your mate?"

Mr. Jeon's expression turned from disappointment to disgust as he gazed at his son. He had always known that Arthur was spoiled, but he had never thought that his son would be so reckless. He had expected more responsibility from the future king, especially when it came to matters of the heart.

With a heavy sigh, Mr. Jeon turned and walked away, pulling out his phone to dial a number. It was likely Vinceno, someone who needed to be informed about the latest development. As he stepped out of the room, the weight of the youngest actions settled heavily on his shoulders.

The room fell silent, with the entire family frozen in uncertainty, unsure of how to react to the bombshell. The tension was palpable until Arthur's voice cut through the stillness.

"Doc, I don't know how, but she is lying. I know this is not mine. I don't believe this fake report!" Arthur's anger was simmering just below the surface, his face reddening with each passing moment. The incredulity in his voice was evident, and his eyes flashed with a fierce denial.

Just as Arthur was about to continue, Anaya stepped forward, her gentle demeanor suddenly giving way to a fierce intensity. She grasped Arthur's collar, her grip firm as she pulled him closer, her eyes blazing with a cold, icy fury.

"Then what about the night she is talking about, Arthur?" Anaya's voice was low and even, but it sent a shiver down Arthur's spine. Her eyes, once bright and shining, had turned glacial, and Arthur felt a pang of regret. He had never seen Anaya like this before, and it was unnerving.
