Chapter-21

Arther's pov;

As I step outside of Malroux an unknown excitement engulfs me and my wolf . Well afterall we are going to meet her today so it was natural I guess .
I requested for a leave for this day so that I can go and see her. Its her birthday today. I still remember how excitedly she told me about this when we had our talk for the first time back in India . Today she must be missing her home as she is away from them.

After I fu** ed up , well my wolfe had done that but I can't shake it off as he is practically my other half , it's our first time meeting her after that day which has already been a month now.

As I have been in touch with her these days I don't sense anything bad except her fear once or twice which was natural in a way .

She did talk to me eventually which took quite a while for her to get comfortable .

I was dying to listen to her sweet voice those days , the way she says my name, her laugh, her stuttering when she's nervous .

She shared her days event , told me how she was terrified about her new training session and everything and most importantly about our library. My girl is obsessed about books and currently she is having her 'best reads' in her words.

Most of the time it was me who had done the approaching , well I guess this new connection between us is still somewhat confusing for her as she is not a shifter like us. well she is getting better in it though. Now she even know how to block my link.

Her , everything about her amuses me . It's like all the control that I'v built in my past 26 years of life seems to be out of the window when it comes to Anaya. It didn't help that I was an Alpha either. The strong pull literally makes me go nuts whenever I'm around her. Thanks to my strong human side I'm controlling it but I know it's getting harder and that is the reason why I am here today.

Me being Alpha made everything more intense. Usually once Mates meet the matebond will develop quickly . The male marks the female , solidifying the bond. Then the bond will start pushing the two to complete the bond fully by filing the mating session.

Mates usually can't resist each orher for long after the marking , not to even mention heat. Shewolves will go into heat a couple days after the marking if the mate bond isn't completed . And I am happy that Anaya being not a shifter it will not happen to her . Which is good . But still her bond will get stronger , her attraction towards me will be intensified . She will be able to understand me better and that will help in our relationship.

I need to talk to her about all these. I agree we did not had time to discuss about all these mate related things which must be making her confused . Heck we didn't even get the time to talk about us . But I also feel happy that this way she will not think she is getting forced into it. Her true self will decide if she wants me or not.

My wolf needs to understand that things does not work like the same as werewolves in Anaya's way. Her human side will not allow her to fall in love with me this instantly. I will have to win over her heart as a normal guy and I'm determined to do so . I know I effect her and eventually I will make everything perfect for my Angel , My sweet little Angel.

I wanted to surprise her so intentionally I did not talk to her. I don't know if she is missing me or not but guess we'll find that out later. I hope she did , just the way I missed her every time. Her smell , her smile , her child like curiosity , her beautiful eyes..........everything.

Even though I have been away, I got to know all her whereabouts as she has started her training.

Me and my wolf can't be more proud of that fact that our mate is strong enough and the best at what she is doing right now. Her powers , as fascinating as it sounds I really wanna see them by myself.
