I look at all of the ingredients the Ela needed to the food she was going to cook. How can I even do this stuff?... Utusan ba naman akong gayatin yung mga gulay and measure the others that are have to be measure. The worst is the sauce.
I can't even do cooking! Ito pa kayang sa sauce!
Bakit pa kasi hindi sila nag-luto kanina nung wala pa kami? Tsk..
I sighed and tried to calm my nerves that is throbbing painfully. Nasakit ang ulo ko sa inis. They know that this is the girls work, pero ano lang ang ginagawa nila...
Nandoon sa sala. Nanonood ng kung ano. I breathe in and breathe out. Hindi ako matatapos nito kung complain ako ng complain. I started to do my little work.
I can saw on my pheriperal vision that Ela is peeking or watching me closely while I am doing the other girls supposed to be work.
Ewan ko ba kung bakit nahiwalay ang cooking area dito?.. Mapapagod lang akong mag-describe.
" Jai is not coming back yet " i raised my head at Jay. He is checking his phone.
" Maybe traffic lang kaya natagalan " he sigh and lean beside the coffee maker. I stand infront of the cabinets and open one of it checking for some mayo and cheese inside.
" Dapat kanina pa siyang nag text kung naabutan siya ng traffic or not " i stare at the bottles. Jay has a point.
He better comeback early. Baka hindi na niya kami maabutan dito.
" He's not texting me either" I just spare a little glance at Shaun.
" Bakit ba late na niyang naisip na sunduin tayo? " reklamo ni Shaun na kumuha na naman ng snacks sa ref.
Sabay kaming tumingin ni Jay kay Shaun and gave him a 'you-know-the-answer' look. Napailing-iling lang ito at bumalik na sa living room.
Jay knocked on the cabinet that got my attention. " Gonna go back and ask Ryl " I nod at pinagpatuloy ang ginagawa ko.
" RYL! " I heard Jay called Ryl. I simply shrugged my shoulder. Nakakangalay rin.
Natigil ako dahil sa may-ari ng daliri na nakadutdot sa sauce sa bowl and I glare at the owner.
Instead of removing his finger, Levine dip his finger more deeper. Before I could get my action, he run and sit beside Yuka who's watching movies with the others.
What a troublesome guest he is... Ang childish niya.
I just put a little fake smile on my face and immediately hide it on Ela's prescense. " Are you done? " tanong sa akin ni Ela. I take my apron and nod at her.
Tumango lang din ito. I silently leave her who's busy cooking and grab my phone. I check it and there wasn't any single text from him. Anyare don?
" Ahhhh!!! " napalingon ako sa gawi nina Sylene ng sumigaw ang mga ito. Natatakot sa pinapanood.. Kanina pa sila diyan takot na takot sa pinapanood pero hindi naman pinapalitan ang movie.. Kahit sina Pres ay napapasigaw narin...
My eyes landed on Sir Win. He was busy with his coffee while watching his class enjoying themselves in the tv.
The atmosphere is vibrant not like earlier when he nagged at us. Sir Win glance back at me but my phone got my attention when it vibrate.
Tsk. A notification from somewhere that is not important much..
I averted my gaze at Sir Win when I feel his presense near me." Why are you not joining them? " I sigh and keep my eyes busy to the tall buildings.
