"I ask you again, Seolya. Are you ready to join NCT?" She looked up behind her, looking at her brothers, who looked at her worried.
"I-I..." "Soul, you don't have to decide now. Think about it, it has time! But for now, you can watch us train, maybe you even will find interesst in something you wanna learn too! YangYang, do you take her to the training section?" Doyoung said. YangYang nodded with a smile, holding his hand out for her.
The girl took his hand a bit unsure, but trusting him. He gently pulled her with him, the others followed them, except for four of them.
"Hyung, you can't be serious about that! Soul has a pure heart, she is innocent! You can't put her in this danger!" One protested on the brink of despair.
"Sungchan, I understand you, okay? But she could help us so good! Her skills are great! She will fit in here!"
"No! Hyung! She is my twin! I won't let her be in such danger! She is not like us! She is not like Jaehyun hyung or Taeyong hyung! She is not reckless! She is reserved! She can't hurt people at all! She went through too much pain in her life, this will only get worse with that! Hyung! Say something too!" He turned around to his brother, who starred at the leader.
But Jaehyun only looked down at his brother, then at his best friend, before he simply turned away, and left.
He didn't knew what would be the best too. On the one hand his brother couldn't be more right.... but he also knew that his best friend is also right... this way they can protect her...
"Sungchan, this is a way for you to be re-united. To protect her best! She already is in danger it is too late about that... Wonchan knows about her... who knows who else does.... they would use her..." he looked at the boy with pity.
"See, we could teach her some skills so she can defend herself when she is alone or with her friends." Doyoung said. "Hyung..." Sungchan said beggingly, desperate.
"You can choose, this way, or she is captured here forever." The leader said coldly, turning around and left to the others in the training house.
Doyoung looked at the boy. "This was the only solution we could think of to help her, so hyung let's her go out of here again. If she stays here, when no one is around, she is in much greater danger than when she walks around freely. Think about it..." he said, then followed the leader.
Now, Sungchan was left alone in the living room, his mind blank.
He was disappointed. Disappointed in his hyung because of what is happening, disappointed in his brother, who is not saying anything now, even tho it was him who was attacking their leader since he was putting their sister in this situations but more disappointed in himself because it was his fault all this started...
He didn't regret one bit that he saved his sister, but he was thinking if he could have done that in another way, without putting her in this danger...
He sighed deeply before he also went into their training section, while his head hung low.
When he opened the door and went down the stairs, he saw the boys all already in their seperated training sections. He saw Doyoung, Jeno, Taeil and Renjun with his sister, talking.
"Hey, you alright?" His best friend asked, worried and coming up to him. "H-huhh? Yeah... I am okay..." he answered, not looking at him but at his sister.
"You are worried..." he concluded. "What?" Sungchan asked, now looking at him, only barely heard what he said.
"You are worried, I understand that. I would be too! And honestly, if I were you, I would not let her join..." he said.
"I know, hyung. I don't want that either! But Jaehyun hyung.... he is suddenly quiet about that! As if he would let her join! I don't know if he is just doing it, to find a connection to her again..." he looked back to his sisters direction.
"I would not let her join if I would be you... but I would not keep her captured here either" his best friend continued his own thought. Sungchans head shot back to him.
"What?!" He asked shocked. "You know, hyung is somehow right... I honestly would not let her join... not because she is a girl or weak... but... it could be complicated... because of yours and Jaehyun hyungs relation towards her! But she is in danger, that is a simple fact." He also looked over at her.
"Wonchan is free and we don't know who else he is working with. What if he has more allies than those we already know of? And when he told them about her? She would be a walking target...." he paused.
"Everyone knows, that hyung cares for innocent lifes. But more for his members lifes. They would try to blackmail us with her somehow. If we keep her here, and we leave for a mission, she is stuck here. They would come and try to get her, or she tries to run away and gets captured. Especially when she knows nothing about fighting and defending, she is helpless." Sungchan now looked at his best friend again.
"And your family and her friends... I doubt they would just leave it like that, especially your family after everything that happened in your past. Do you wanna make them suffer more? You said it was hard for your aunt when your father died. And it was harder when hyung disappeared. Think how your sister would feel, if she is captured here, not allowed to leave the house but you can go, visit your aunt and cousin. She thinks about them too with what she does, right? And if you don't go back to them just for her, think how they would feel, loosing everything else? Is that worth it?" He asked.
"You should think closely, what you would wanna do.... and tell her... because... I am sure she won't make the decision without you, for that she knows us to less and especially the consequences of all of that... she would ask for someones opinion. And I bet it would be you, since she is still a bit terrified of Jaehyun hyung..." he patted Sungchans shoulder, before he turned around, leaving for his training again.
"Why were you not the psychologist of this group again?!" He yelled behind his best friend.
"BECAUSE IT WOULD BE TOO MUCH WORK AND TOO EXHAUSTING WITH YOU CRAZY IDIOTS!" He waved at him, not turning around but continueing his way. Sungchan chuckled, shaking his head.
They were close, since the day they met, before they joined NCT. They used to talk about everything and joke around. They are literally something you could call soulmates.
They are the same like Jeno and Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung or even Taeyong and Jaehyun, when they are not fighting and try to kill each other like in the morning....
Sungchan looked over to his sister again, before he went over to his other best friend around his age.
"Yo bro!" He said, smiling at him. "Yo!" He answered back, but in thoughts. "You okay?" He asked, turning to him, realizing something was not right with him.
"Huhh? Yeah... just... thinking.." "Soul, isn't it?" He asked. Sungchans head shot up. "I am not stupid, dude!" Chenle answered, chuckling.
"I can understand that. But dude, you and Jaehyun both don't want her to join, so it is an easy decision, right? And I bet, that she is still way too scared of most of the boys... she won't wanna join either!"
"I am really not sure about that, Lele... Hyung... he is suddenly not protesting anymore, as if he would be fine with that! And I see she is in good terms with you and Jisung. You are so nice to her, she already trusts you! Don't get me wrong, I am happy she does and that you are nice to her! Dream too! But I am worried something might happens to her... she is really precious to me... not only because she is my twin..." he said, while looking over to his sister.
