The girl was still talking to the four boys, when someone else joined them as well. But then the five fell quiet.
"Why do you stop talking?" He asked. The girl looked down at her lap, while the boys only looked at the male. One of them placed a hand on the girls shoulder, pulling her closer.
"Okay guys, seriously. How long do you wanna do this now? She is still alive, isn't she! I never would hurt an innocent, you guys know that!" He said, raising an eyebrow while crossing his arms.
The boys copy their leaders position, looking at him questionably. The leader rolled his eyes annoyed.
"Okay, now quit this chit-chat... go, do your training! Now!" He commended in a loud and dark, serious tone.
The boys suddenly ran away leaving the girl and the leader alone. The girl, who was sitting on a cupboard flinched when they started to run.
"Right." The leader said. The girl flinched at the sudden sound again, head shooting up to look at him.
"S-Sorry?" She asked unsure. "The map. It is next to your right. Would you give it to me?" He asked in the softest voice he was able to come up with in his mood.
The girl looked to her right, seeing a brown map next to her. She grabbed it, and handed it to him, not looking at him directly, but down.
"Thank you." He said. She smiled out of politness. He looked at her. "You are still scared of me, aren't you?" He asked her. She now looked at him, saying nothing.
"Cat got your tongue again?" "Ne? I-I... i-it..." "A simple yes would have been enough" He said annoyed, interrupting her sentence.
She gulped, intimidated. "Y-Yeah...." she answered. He nodded. "Listen.... I am sorry for how I treated you. I didn't meant to scare you, it was just..." he paused and sighed.
"You saw Henderys state, didn't you? I was just..." he sighed heavily again. "Nevermind..." he then said. "I am really sorry...." he said, nearly whispering. "I really am..." he added before he walked past the girl, leaving her alone but he stopped in his tracks.
He turned around again, looking at her. She was still sitting there, not moving or looking at anyone.
"Are you perhaps interessted in fighting?" The girl looked up, over her shoulder, flipping her hair behind her shoulder too. She looked at him with furrowed brows, blinking confused not really understanding what he intended to ask her.
"I mean, would you like to learn how to fight." She still looked at him with a questioning look.
"Come with me! I'll show you. Just the basics!" He holded his hand out for her. She looked at his hand before she took it, hesitating.
He pulled her gently off from the cupboard, into the fighting section. "A-are you sure? I-I mean... I am.. not strong...." the girl stuttered.
When the boy turned around to her, she nearly run into his chest, but she caught herself in time and the male supported her, catching her gently by her shoulders, while he looked her deep in the eyes.
For both unknown for now, something inside both of them changed and everyone who saw them now, saw it.
He cleared his troat, letting go of her shoulders hactily. "Fighting is not only about strengh. Fighting is more about cleverness, about reflexes and thinking fast."
"Something I can't do either..." she murmured more to herself. "It is like a daily routine, once you know the basics. And then, it's only about the precise details. I'll teach them to you, if you want!"
