Ugh!, Media
I thought to myself as I put my phone way.
It's been three solid months, I honestly dont understand why my matter should still be trending. I mean, why?

I shifted my gaze to back the movie I was watching. A romance scene was on.
It had me reminiscing the good times I spent with Yuri. The cuddles, the kisses, the sleepovers, everything was just amazing.

My eyes wandered to the ceiling, and I watched how impeccably white it was.
It had no flaw, no stain whatsoever.
How I wish my life could be as white as this ceiling.

The golden chandelier hung firm, giving it this  glorious majestic touch.
I honestly hadn't taken time to genuinely appreciate how beautiful it was.
I remember how I had to go through the hassle of shipping it to Nigeria.

I chuckled lightly.

Just then, my door softly opened.
It was my mom.
She exchanged a worried look as she walked over to me.

"You're awake,"

I personally didn't like the idea of her coming over to stay with me.
Fact is, I feel like a prisoner in my own house anytime she's here.
I love my mom so much, but what I love also is freedom and independence.

"Momsi, I'm fine," I replied, knowing that there was more to that "You're awake" question.
I didn't want to hear more stories of how powerful Pastor X is or how this Pastor Y gives miracle babies and husbands. I was officially tired. "Biko" (Please)

"You know if you had followed me for midweek Service today, you wouldn't be like this?", She asked, gently placing her hand on my cheek.

"Anyways, Pastor Bolaji preached about the power of faith, how that as children of God we should always...

"Momsi, please naw," I interrupted.

She rolled her eyes and threw me a
"lord-please-save-my-daughter" look.

"Anyways,"She continued

"Your dad and I have decided that you are abroad for some time. We thought it wise that Capetown is a nice place to be. Plus, you can continue working in those your law errm offices (law firms). This Nigeria with all these bloggers and comments isn't doing you good. "

Finally, somebody gets it
I heaved in a deep sigh, you know, to make things dramatic

"Yes, Momsi, I need new air to breathe," I replied hilariously, and we both laughed.

We spoke more about getting a transfer from work and facts. My parents had already sorted it out. All that was left now is to wait for the release documentation and then work on reaching a firm in capetown.
