It's the end of my "fitting in" week and the beginning of my cooperate week. It's so going to be a tight one. This I can see rushing like the clouds.

You know, law has always been a dream I'd longed to make reality. Everything law just drove me Cloud 9, Extreme Ectasy!
The reason why I was one of the youngest to finish law school and again one of the meagre nigerians called to the bar.

That's the whole point, actually.
If you do what you love, you enjoy yourself, and you break boundaries! To them, what is seen as stress and hard work becomes your propelling force.

First day! Beautiful rappour.
I didn't want to give out much flesh, so I settled for a more subtle look.

I didn't look entirely bad, if not for these stubborn dark circles that adorned my eyes. They're secured behind my large frames now.

I had another wonderful welcome by the rest of the staff. Felt as if they'd beheld a spaceship from outerspace.
I know I was probably the most experienced person there, but it didn't have to be this obvious.

Soon, I settled in in my office. It was pretty small but felt very cosy. Documents were already placed on my table. From the look of things, I could tell these were failed cases the consult embarked on. The times were just outrageously outdated.

I was a bit thrown of guard by their actions. Felt like the kind of thing that you're used as damage control. I couldn't blame them though, why not give it a second shot when you have the opportunity? Especially when you know that opportunity cometh once unto every homo sapien.

With this, I was determined to get on some leads that would help clear them. I had to live up to expectations, and there was no cap about that.

A huge coffee mug was already filled and steaming hot. I took a sip and made myself feel at home.

One by one, I went through the files. Interestingly, they were mostly divorced and domestic violence cases.

Indeed, men are a scam!

I was convinced that Vehze Consult was actually a small law firm that took on small cases.

Tamtam, this is just what you need.

It's a chill time professionally.  I know I've dealt with some of the most scandalous cases with all these huge Nigerian Business Tycoons, successfully putting them behind bars.

Taking big and daunting Risks was an undiluted characteristic of me. Indeed, it's time to take the chill pill and just go low.

Well, Mrs. damage control, you gotta face these cases one by one.

I grabbed my pen and started noting down points.

I had an image to uphold and a firm to redeem in the public glare. There was just not enough time to play!
