We stopped outside a room, which I assume is a classroom. The door was old and was coated in cracked paint.

"Keep your head up and smile" the red head said before she turned around and pulled me into the room with her.

There wasn't that many people sat around, but it was still very uncomfortable being held under their stairs. Lydia led me to a small desk that was placed in the corner and there sat a oversized teacher.
I'm gonna call him Mr. Doughnut, suits him, especially when I can see all the doughnuts sat in his opened draw.

When he realised we were stood waiting he quickly shut the draw and turned the key locking it before turning his attention to us.
The bored man looked between us in utter confusion.

"Who are you? Why are you in my class" he questioned me.

Lydia disconnected our arms and walked away leaving me to stand awkwardly on my own in front of everyone.

"Uh, I'm new, my um name is Isabella Monabila" I spoke quietly.

He stood up straight looking at me with a cold icy stare and hummed.

"Yeah okay whatever, they told us about you and the other. Just like introduce yourself while I go get your schedule" he shook his head at me before standing up and hobbling out.

I wished in that moment the floor would open up and swallow me whole as I stared at all the students. I didn't introduce myself and instead sat in the closest un-occupied seat near me.

The two boys that I saw in front of the school walked in chatting away, buzzy bee sat behind me, and curly sat next to me.
Mr. Doughnut walked back in with a large folder in his hands and started making his way to me.
Without any words, the dropped three sheets of paper on my desk and with a grunt, he walked away.
What a mood.

He stopped in front of his very clean chalkboard, before picking up a chalk so he could start whatever he was writing.

"As you all know, there was a body found in the woods last night." The teacher sighed out already annoyed.

My eyes widened in shock.
I mean wouldn't you freak out if you were in the woods all night!?

"And I'm sure your, eager little minds are coming up with various macabre scenarios as to what happened." He carried on.

"But I am here to tell you, that the police have a suspect in custody, which means you can give your undivided attention, to the syllabus which is on your desk, outlining this semester." The evil man smirked then moved out the way.
I quickly looked around and indeed everyone had a sheet on their desk.
I started shuffling through the papers, one was my classes, the other was my locker number and combination and the last one was
Oh great, the syllabus.

I let out an annoyed huff, on my first day.
I was trying to read through it as fast as possible but it was quite hard to concentrate when the boy next to me won't stop shuffling in his seat.
I turned my head to him ready to shout and tell him to stop moving and probably add an empty threat.

Why does his face look like somebody has stepped on a puppy? He looked like a maniac with his head shooting in every direction, like he was trying to find something.
His gaze finally stopped on something over my shoulder and a look passed through his eyes, something like adoration?

I shook my head happy that he has stopped whatever fit he was having and was about to start reading through the rules, when something moved in the corner of my eye.
I looked out of the window, that I didn't realise was there, just to see a girl searching through her bag with the phone between her shoulder and ear.
I just shook it off and carried on my reading, again.

"Oh my god, I forgot a pen" a female voice groaned.

My head shot up and I looked around super confused, everyone was faced down reading.
What the hell.
I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't realise the door that opened and people had stepped inside the room until he spoke some words.

"Class this is out new student Allison Argent, and our other student, Isabella Monabila" he gestured to me.
Everyone, and I mean everyone turned themselves to face me.

My face burnt with embarrassment but the girl at the front smiled at me and waved to everyone else at the class.

"Please do your best to make them feel welcome" the principal finished his tiny little speech before the girl walked towards an empty seat.

I heard a little thanks and turned my head to see the boy behind me looking at the bored with a blush and the girl looking down at the pen confused.

I spun around so fast I nearly got whip-lash but that's when I realised.

That's the girl I heard.

       ~———————————-~

After my last class had finished, I got up packing all of my stuff away and was about to walk through the door when a familiar arm wrapped through mine, dragging me into a completely different direction to where I need to be.

"Where are we going" i sputtered out trying to keep a steady pace with her so I wasn't being dragged.

"To the new girl silly" Lydia giggled and shook her head like I said something funny.

After a long walk, Allison came into our view, and we, more like Lydia, rushed towards her, shoving anyone that got in the way.

"That jacket is absolutely killer, Where'd ya get it?" the red head tilted her head and stopped in front of the poor girl. But luckily, she disconnected her arm from mine.

"My mom was a buyer from a boutique back in San Francisco" Allison hesitated in her answer, clearly bedazzled that she was talking to her.

"And you are our new best friend" the red head pointed at the brunette with a large smile.

Before anyone could say anything a bulky boy walked up behind Lydia and gave her a big sloppy kiss. PDA people.

Allison looked at me, clearly uncomfortable so I did what I do best. Was very dramatic.
I stuck my tongue out and fake gagged with a finger in my mouth.

She stifled a giggle with her sleeve, and in that exact moment Lydia decided to turn around.

"So, this weekend. There's a party" Lydia said crossing her arms and facing us, the nameless boy wrapping her arms around her waist.

"A party?" Me and Allison questioned at the same time.

"Yeah Friday night, you should both come." Mr. Nameless spoke up, and also added a horrendous wink.
I shuffled back a step in disgust and could see Allison trying not to cringe back.

"Uh, I can't it's family night this Friday, thanks for asking though" Allison replied. It was clearly a lie but I wasn't judging.

They both turned their heads to me.

"What?" I asked noticing both their stares on me.

It finally clicked after a long second on what she was on about.

"Ohhh, yeah no, for sure not my thing." I replied quite bluntly.

Lydia let out a little whine of annoyance and spoke between the lines of something like, 'why are you a loser'.
I wouldn't know.

"You sure? I mean everyone Is going after the scrimmage" Jackass shrugged.

Huh. Jackass. New nickname.

"You mean like football?" Allison questioned.

We all let out snorts. It might be my first day but I could tell this school would never play such a pathetic game.

"Football is a joke in beacon, the sport here is lacrosse, we've one state championship for the past three years." He boasted.

"Because of a certain team captain" the red head smirked at her boyfriend.

"Well, we have practice in a few minutes, that is if you don't have anywhere else.."

Allison was about to make another excuse but Lydia cut her off.

"Perfect, you're coming" she squealed in delight before dragging us both out the back doors.
