Chapter 35

I stood up and gave Isaac a hug telling him thank you. Then I turn to the car my smile dropping and angrily open the back door of the car sitting down. I put my seatbelt on and Jackson pulls off the curb the car in silence.

"I'm gonna ask. Why the hell were you two alone." I clench my jaw. Lydia might not be the bestest of friends but no one deserves to get cheated on. No one.

Allison sighs and looks back at me. "It's not what you think-"

"It's better not be what I think." I glare and cut her off.
Jackass scoffs and starts driving towards my house.

"Don't be so full of yourself Isabella. Me and Allison are friends, if we were alone together it doesn't mean anything." He rolls his eyes.
I scoff a laugh and lean back crossing my arms.

"Like how we were together alone?" He shuts up and Allison looks between us both confused.

"Oh yeah, forgot to mention to you and Lydia. Jackass here has a thing for kissing girls who he saved." I laugh crossing my arms looking out the window. Her jaw drops and she looks at Jackson who's grinding his teeth together and speeding up. We're left in awkward silence once again and when we finally make it to my house I climb out the car spitting out a 'thanks' and walking to my door. I'll have to get my car tomorrow. I'm way too tired.

I check my pockets and groan when I realise I don't have my key and the spare isn't where it normally is considering I moved it last time. I walk to the back of the house and climb up my tree and through my bedroom window. I roll like a ninja, just kidding. I drop from the window and land on my back winding myself.

I groan and sit up. That wasn't smart, at all. No more jumping through windows. I'm gonna make my keys into earrings.
I stand up brushing my pants off and turn my light switch on screaming in fright at the Scott who's fast asleep on my bed. Well, not anymore. He shoots up looking around but calms down when he realises it's only me.

"What the heck Isabella! I thought there was a murderer." He groans laying back down.
That's my bed.

"Okay, first of," I walk over to him and tap his back which some how caused him to fly off my bed. At least my thingy works sometimes.
"That's my bed, you can sleep on the floor, on the sofa, or the three guest bedrooms that we have. Second of all, what the fuck happened tonight!" I throw myself onto my bed staring at him. The bear he got me was squashed from his heavy ass laying on it and I pick it up cuddling it to my chest.

"I lost control. Derek helped me. Derek's alive, did you know that? Then, he took me home and we had a talk. And then he left and I decided I wanted to check on you." He sums up climbing back onto the bed. I roll my eyes and shuffle back so my back was leaning against my headboard.

"D-did you hurt anyone?" I ask fiddling with my fingers knowing most people would get pissed at that.

He sighs and leans next to me placing his head on my shoulder.
"No. But I saw Allison in Jackson's car. I-I think I hallucinated of them doing things. I can't tell if it was real."
He sighs.

I gently run my hand through his hair but not in a, 'I have a fat crush on you way' more in like a,
'You're like the brother I never had because mine likes to hurt me' kind of way.

"They were together. Not like, in a sexual way. Well, I don't know if they were but I asked Allison to pick me up but she showed up with Jackson. They both looked pretty kept together though, I'm just trying to figure out why they were there together alone in the first place. He nods along and I yawn.

"Are you staying here tonight? I can get you some clean clothes to change into." 

He picks his head off my shoulder and mutters a 'please' so I get up and walk into Noah's room. I open his cupboard and take out a hoodie then walk to his drawers getting some sweatpants out. When I pull a pair out a bunch of papers fall out with them

"Shit" I whisper and drop the clothes and start scooping the papers up. My entire body freezes and my blood runs cold when my eyes catch onto the headline of one of them.
