Chapter 18

After a few long minutes of silence, stiles shovel hit down on something hard.
He quickly put his free hand in front of Scott to stop him from trying to dig again.
"Hey, okay stop stop stop" he breathed out.

He hit the shovel on the floor twice just to make sure there's actually something there, before throwing his shovel, nearly knocking me out in the process.

"Dude! What the fuck" I shouted and threw my arms in the air.
He gave me a sheepish smile before dropping to the ground.
Scott followed behind, and both the boys were digging up the mud with their hands. Dogs I tell ya.
Gonna be a pain in the ass getting that out their nails.
I literally cringed back at the thought.

"Hurry!" Scott rushed scared Derek will arrive back any second.
Stiles let out an annoyed huff while trying to untie some knots in a rope.
"Im trying, did he have to tie the thing in like 900 knots?" He exclaimed.

I let out a scoff and slid down the small wall.
"Let me try you idiot" I mumbled, slapping his hands away when he tried to continue.
He's an idiot, my steady hands started untying the knots like spreading butter on bread.
After I finished untying all the knots, with help from Scott obviously, stiles quickly unwrapped the sheet.

The sight was terrifying, why didn't I leave?
Both the boys let out girlish screams while jumping out of the hole.
Obviously it freaked me out but I'm not gonna act like a 8 year old girl.
"What the hell is that!?" Stiles threw his arms forward, to like show he's making a point.

"It's a wolf"
"It's clearly a wolf buzzy bee"

Scott and I spoke at the same time, in that exact order.

"Yeah. I can see that, I thought you said you smelled blood? As in human blood!" Stiles voice cracked. Bro looked shocked, never trust a man that looks like Justin Bieber.

"I told you something was different" Scott muttered, staring at the wolf.

"This doesn't make sense" Stilinski grabbed onto his head like something magical would happen.

"We gotta get outta here" Scott's voice wavered in fear.

"Yeah okay le-"
I blocked both the boys out and tilted my head at the piece of rope that was connected to the body and trailed up the little stump.
I was knocked out of my thoughts when stiles suddenly started moving towards something.
I followed his movements and my eyes stopped on the same thing they where looking at.

Is that wolfsbane? Oh my god is this like some ritual.
Stiles picked the flower up just for it to be connected to some rope.
He started pulling the rope towards himself, he followed the weird thick piece of string, it was literally just swirls around the hole.

It just kept going and going.
Scott looked down at the hole and quickly stood up, his eyes as wide as saucers.
I turned my attention underneath me, I wish I hadn't.
"Stiles" Scott whispered.

Buzzy walked towards Scott and looked directly at what we were looking at, covered under the sheets, laid a body of a female.
Her eyes were wide open, to say the least it was pretty significantly terrifying.
Stiles stumbled back a few steps in shock.
My breathing increased and I walked backwards into the wall, trying to pull myself out but to no avail, I failed.
Hands latched themselves onto my waist, and Scott pulled me out like I weighed a feather.
My heart was pounding so hard against my chest.

Me and Scott stood behind the jeep, my heart still pounding in my ears.
Scott had one of his arms wrapped around my shoulder clearly noticing my discomfort.
A deputy walked out the house escorting Derek, that was in handcuffs, towards the cop car and sheriff trailed behind.
