UNBREAKABLE // teen wolf

Chapter 1

A week ago me, my brother and our family dog, Apollo, moved to beacon hills, in California, after our parents death.

It's currently 9:30PM on a Sunday night, the night before school starts, and I'm in the woods listening to music while I walk Apollo. I don't know what I was thinking but I thought it would be a good idea to get a firm mental image on how to get around the town, so I started with the woods.

I was in my feels, brain all mushed up, emotionally drained and distressed.
I was bopping my head to the song that was playing through my IPod when it suddenly stopped working.
Confused, I stopped my mind clearing, emotional walk and pulled the small device out of my pocket.
I was pressing buttons trying to get it to work, but I ain't know nothing about technology.
I was told you put a playlist on it and press play, I am not dealing with this shit.

"Stupid speaker" I muttered under my breath as I pulled the earphones out of my sore ears.
I stuffed everything into my pocket and carried on walking, with Apollo occasionally tugging on the leash.

I came to a sudden halt when I heard leaves crunch from behind me.
This is how I die.

I tensed and stood still.
Trying to still myself into a statue, another noise game from behind me, sounded like a twig snapping, how ironic.
I let out a deep breath and slowly turned around just to face absolutely nothing. I scoffed at myself, what an idiot.

All of a sudden, Apollo started tugging to run after something, I jerked forward from the pull and the leash slipped from my very sweaty hand.

"APOLLO! STOP" I shouted after him.
I, very pathetically might I add, tried to chase after him but came to a holt when a low growl buzzed from behind me. That's not my dog.

My heart was pounding out of my chest and breathing increased.
I slowly and steadily turned around to be met with bright red, beady, monstrous eyes.

My mouth opened and let out a silent scream at the sight, I slowly staggered back frightened for my life. I tried to run, I swear I did, but this thing is speedy and caught up to me in no time.
There was a firm grip on my leg but before I could make any sudden movements, it was pulled from underneath me and I fell forward.

I started shouting for help, but it fell upon deaf ears. I tried to latch onto something, anything, but it was absolutely pointless.
This is how my life ends, hopefully at my funeral I have a lot of flowers.
It's on my bouquet list, hahaha. Not the time.

I felt a sharp pain shoot up my leg like somebody had stabbed me multiple times.
I lifted my free leg up and attempted to hit it.
Key word "attempted"

I missed very badly, like very but for some reason the monster dropped me to the ground and ran off. HAH I'm scary, run off you old hag.

My jaw was clenched in pain, I'm surprised my teeth haven't cracked. I started looking around trying to find something to put my weight on.

I crawled towards a great big oak tree and leant all of my weight on it. I slowly started pulling myself up but my legs felt like jelly, I started wobbling like I was surfing.
I should have a TV show named after me, wobbly dobbly.

My leg hurt more than my parents death. Okay too soon.
I was trying to group some ideas up, I'll call Noah to come help, legendary.

I checked my left pocket, not there, I checked my right pocket, not there, I checked my inside pocket, found itttttt.
I let out an agitated sigh when the little red battery box popped up. Just my luck it's dead.

I pushed myself off of the tree and started limping my way around.
Every now and then I'd let out the occasional shout for Apollo and cry of pain.

I ended up outside a burnt down house, looks abandoned to me.
I stood staring at it for a minute, something seems so familiar, I was cut from my thoughts by a bark.
My eyes adverted from the house and placed themselves of a silhouette of a furry animal running towards me.
