Sofia's POV:
I looked through the window and almost feinted the fighting was tremendous and the sounds were ear splitting. At that moment the window shouted due to the high pitched screams of the Shax demons. James sprinted over to see if she was okay. James looked out the window and jumped.
That's when I screamed I couldn't lose him, the first true love I had felt in over a hundred years and now he might die. Of course now I had to jump, I changed into a falcon and landed as a Dragon and killed the nearest five demons.
I changed back into my original form and broiled another shax demon that was about to kill me fiance. The last Shax demon put it's bird-like talons behind it's head and said: "I have a message from the greater demon, Annix the lord of the unforgivable. He says your times have come."
After his message was given his head exploded into shards of bones and brains revealing James. I was so glad to see his face okay that she cried out. He ran to her and embraced her and kissed her over and over again. He was bloody but I didn't mind all I could feel was his presence. I lifted my head to his and kissed him again this time longer and softer. He parted his lips welcoming my relief and passion my tounge pushed on hesitantly then more confidently.
The clearing of a gruff throat broke us apart. "I believe we have a lot to talk about Sofia." It was Tate his arm around his parabatai, Luke. Luke was wise in a way that Tate wasn't, he was not a fighter, he was more suited for a library during a fight he had lost his ability to speak so he talked through his parabatai bond with Tate. "We need your help finding the demon Annix. Luke tells me that we have not record of an Annix demon."
"I have heard of such a demon, she's the queen of the deepes part of the abyss. She is the queen of those who had no hope of ascending to heaven. If she is planning to destroy you you are pretty much screwed without the help of downworlders, I'll do my best to rally our forces but it may not be much."
