Sofia's POV:

The night was perfect for my purposes, I had chosen the most expensive srt gallery in San Francisco to rob. In my current kitten form I was probably the cutest thing on the streets. The shopkeeper that was currently locking up shop saw me he smiled. I had been staking out the store and had allowed the shopkeeper to get acquainted with me. He let me into his shop in his arms and poured me some milk from the staff fridge.

When his back was turned I turned into a razor-clawed humanoid demon. I smiled a sharp-toothed smile and walked forward. When he turned his face became white with fear, my claws carresed his neack in a deadly slicing way and he fell to the ground dead. I took the mans security code reader and typed in the numbers. Each case unlocked with a satisfying click and I removed the five most expensive painting in the form of a faceless automaton.

The few people on the street watched in terror as I crossed to the sewers and in gelatinous form oozed through taking the paintings with me.

In the morning I woke in my house with the painting safely stored in my hidden safe. I flew as a sea gull to the Institute and picked up the newspaper. I rang the bell and Isabelle opened it wide for me. I walked in taking the paper out of it's water proof bag. The front headlines, as expected read: Cat Burglar and Murderer Strikes Again. The article was long but I knew what it would say. There were witnesses who had witnessed an unlikely red gelatinous blob go into the sewers. No fingerprints would be found and no one would know.

In the dining room the members of the Institute were in a clamor. "We can't just have warlocks and shapeshifters stealing priceless art." This was Tate speaking, his ever calm voice raised high.

"Well without signifigant evidence we can't place the blame on any one being." Kalin sounded stressed, and tire. Isabelle anounced me and Kalin looked over me and when her eyes met mine they were wide with fright. She knew, there was no doubt about it in my mind. If I was going to get off the hook it would only happen with her help and I knew just what she had in mind
