Chapter Eight - Announcements

Isabelle's(Sofia's and James' older daughter) POV:

Mom had told me about the events with Emily and the murder attempt. I had been scared for my mom, but soon I realized that there was nothing to worry about. The slue of demon hunters that had been at the incident had taken her into custody in the Silent city.

It was a great breakfast and Ann, one of my best adult friends at the Institute who was also the cook had made breakfast. My plate was heaped high with poached eggs and bacon and you could barely see the pancakes under it all. I was distracted from my nirvana of food by the high ping of knife on glass.

"I have reached a conclusion with Luke as to what to do with Emily. We have decided that Emily will be sent to the Hong Kong institute as an exchange demon hunter. The demon hunter who is to come to us has just turned thirteen and will be coming to us in one day time." Tate sounded exhausted and tired he had obviously been negotiating with Luke all night

I had bigger things to worry about I had to look my best for the new boy that was coming. Of course I couldn't guarantee he would be handsome or nice but I had to do my best to look good. I had bought eight dresses and I was having three especially fitted ones sent to me today.

I ran up to my room shouting something along the lines of need to get ready for possible dream-boy. I rushed into my room and locked the door and tried on my blue sun dress and discarded it, too flashy.

Jame's POV:

I was nervous of course, how could I not be when I was about to announce out marriage date to a group of people. "I have an announcement as well the past events including Sofia's near death have led us to reconsider our marriage date to the day after tomorrow. We are to have a bachelorette, and bachelor party. The ladies will go to the Four Seasons and the men will go to the Palace Hotel.
