Giotto took the Ring of Snow right after Alaude came back from the Village. He decided to make Alane to be the Snow Guardian. But was she the chosen one ? Giotto also decided to make a test for her "G" he called.

G, who was sitting on the sofa, looked at him "could you call Alaude and Alane for me ?" Giotto said "sure" G stood up and walked out of the study. G remembered that Alaude's study was destroyed so he won't possibly be there "oh ! Elena Did you see Alaude or Alane ?" G asked Elena "maybe they are in the yard. They usually go there" Elena smiled "thanks" he nodded and went to the yard.

As soon as G reached the yard, he saw Alaude and Alane fighting. Alaude dropped his handcuffs and Alane dropped her shotgun.They attacked each other and started to fight with fists and kicks. Alane did the Freezing Order on Alaude, but he grabbed her wrist before she could and pinned it behind her back.

She elbowed his stomach and kicked his head, but he blocked her ankle with his wrist, gritting his teeth. She pulled out her gun and aimed under his chin as he cuffed her neck "why the hell are you two fighting !?" They froze in their spot when G yelled.

The two panted and glared at each other "hn, we'll continue this later" Alaude uncuffed her "huh ? You did not even reach my toe level, your weak" Alane pulled back her gun. Alaude glared and grabbed her collar.

She only stared with a blank face "Alaude !" G pulled Alaude's wrist "Giotto wants you both in his study" he said. Alaude and Alane glanced at each other glaring "hn" they looked away and made their way back to the mansion.

When they reached Giotto's study, Giotto stared at them then sighed "Alaude, Alane will go with you to your next mission, the mission to the Eraca hide out" he said "no" Alaude said right away.

Giotto frowned "why is that ?" He asked "I know you like to work alo-" Alaude cut him off "that's not the reason why I said no" he glanced at Alane "I don't recall what your trying to say" Giotto said "he's just upset because he couldn't defeat me or because that I am stronger than him" Alane said and Alaude glared at her "and I though they would get along" Giotto thought sweat dropping.

"I'm sorry, Alaude. Alane might be the Snow Guardian, and I want to mak-" Giotto got cut off again "she is not the Snow Guardian, nor any Guardian. She is a dangerous and a professional assassin" Alaude glared "is that why you see me as ?" Alane said "I did not say that" he said "no, you did say that. You keep saying that you didn't say it, but the way you pronounce the words make it sound the opposite" she said right away.

Alaude was surprised when she talked back and so was she "Alane" Giotto said "excuse me" Alane looked down and left the study "what's got into you these days, Alaude ?" Giotto asked and Alaude sighed "I don't know. She changed me, it always feels good when she's around, it feels different" Alaude admitted and left "don't tell me, Alaude is..." Giotto's eye twitched.

Alaude was standing in front of Alane's room. For some reason he felt guilty and confused. He guilty because he thought what he said might caused her remember bad memories, and he was confused because he didn't know why he said that, and felt strange when Giotto mentioned Alane going to a dangerous mission.

He knocked on the door but didn't. Oliviero was just passing by when he saw Alaude trying to knock the door, thinking that Alaude forgot how to knock on the door, so he hid behind the corner.

Alaude sighed and knocked on the door "yes ?" Alane slightly opened the door "oh ? Alaude" she said and closed the door, but Alaude held it "woman" he glared "don't you mean Brainless woman ?" She whispered "no, why would I say that ?" He frowned "people call me that all the time. They think I'm dangerous, that is why no one likes me" she said "I would never see you like that" he said.
